The Claim.

A woman in her mid twenties with her airpods plugged to her ears, emerged from an airport and her eyes darted among to fleets of car which one was supposed to be her taxi. She dragged a travel box behind her.

"Are you Mrs. Rene?" A man walked up to the lady and asked.

She took off a airpods, "Sure, you must be the driver," She said, accessing him from his head to toe.

He nodded with a smile to overlook the look she gave him.

"The car is this way," he said and led the way.

They got in the car and the driver revved the car into motion, driving them to a hotel. The car pulled to a halt in front of the hotel and Mrs. Rene stepped out of the car. The driver stepped out of the car and helped her with her bag.

She walked into the hotel, glancing at each corner of the hotel as she approached the counter.

"I'll love to book a room for two days." She uttered, leaning against the slab.

"That would be $78 and 57 cents," the lady replied, not taking her glance off the laptop.

Mrs. Rene brought out her card, paid and was led to the room.

"Isn't so bad," she mumbled as she sat on the bed.

"I'm back, love. Ready to be embraced in your arms again, Damon." A smile lurked around her lips.

Two day later, Ryan assembled his men in his base, ready to strike and do whatever it takes to get Jasmine.

"I believe we all know why we're here. Ryanair's life was threatened once and now, her life is in danger. Jasmine had to pay for this and the only way is to get her here." He started and the crowd roared in agreement.

"She must be brought to Mr. Lyon by the end of the day," he added.

The assembly dismissed, they had been given their tasks beforehand and everyone disperse to their post.

Dressed in all black with a black mask and face cap, a man lurked around Jasmine's workplace garage. He pretended to be reading on his phone when two workers passed by, staring at him.

Immediately, they were out of sight, he broke into Jasmine's car and tampered with her brakes.

"The work is done," he mumbled over the air pod plugged to his ears as he walked out of the garage.

Jasmine had just finished up with a meeting and was walked back to her office with Isobel when the company's messenger walked up to her.

"You have a package, ma'am." He said and Isobel stepped forward to check it.

She read the note attached to the package, "It says from Damon."

Jasmine briskly took the package from the man, "You may leave now," She said and turned to Isobel.

"You can take a break now, I want to be alone."

She walked into her office with a smile that beamed on her face. Sitting on the couch, she opened the package and it was a cup of her favorite coffee, Americano. She picked up the note: "I'll like to be the sugar that sweetens your day. From Damon."

A glowing smile etched her face, she brought out the cup of coffee and sipped it while still staring at the note.

She wanted to call him but decided that it could wait till she got up. Her face fell on the wall clock and she was already getting late to go home. She grabbed her bag and as she stepped out of her office, her phone rang: it was Damon.

"Hey, Damon."

"Hi Cherub, did you get what I sent?"

"I love everything about it except the joke," she teased as she made her way into the garage.

"Joke? I have nothing to joke about, I want to be the reason behind your smile."

Her heart pumped, she blushed and she abruptly halted; it was exactly the same thing Stefan had said to her.

"We're only in a contracted marriage which we still have about ten months to fulfill. I appreciate the fact that you acting is top notch but....." She sighed "I'll be home in a bit," she smiled and ended the call.

She got in the car and drove out of the garage, the man who tampered with her brakes watched her, a gin marred his face.

As she drove along the express road, she tried to apply the brakes but it wasn't working. Filled with panic and fear, she clutched her feet harder on the brakes but it wasn't working.

"Come on," She uttered with a voice filled with fear and plead but the brakes weren't still working.

Her car collided with a tree along the road while trying to avoid hitting anyone, she passed out immediately, blood dripping from her head.

Damon's eyes fixated on his wristwatch was accompanied with a heavy sigh of worry.

"She should be here by now," He mumbled as he began to pace around the living room.

The television was tuned to the news station to calm himself with the noise but it got his attention when the newscaster announced the news.

"In a shocking development, the heiress of Glamorous Glows, Mrs. Jasmine Forbes, was reportedly involved in a mysterious accident earlier this evening. Mrs. Jasmine Forbes was said to have been in the car, which was found crashed and empty at the scene. The police are still investigating the case but have not yet found any sign of the missing heiress. Could this be a disappearance or even a kidnapping? More on this story as it develops. Stay tuned for updates as they are available."

Damon could hardly feel his legs, he fell on the couch and punched a number on his phone.

"Mr. Stones, what have you done with Jasmine?" His voice was deadlier by each word.

"I have nothing to do with the accident, I wouldn't hurt my daughter." He swore but Damon wasn't ready for petty talks.

"If a hair on her goes missing, I'll make you regret the rest of your miserable life."
