The Legendary FAQ

Tong Yan was furious as she stormed out of the Shen family house. How could Grandpa do this to her?! It's all that woman's fault. Grandpa was already starting to accept her again before that woman talked to him in the study.

She gritted her teeth and sped up her pace. "Gyah!" she yelped as she bumped into someone and fell backwards onto the floor.

"Ow!"

A teenage boy was also sprawled on the floor in front of her with a fallen book in between them.

Tong Yan clenched her fist in rage as she quickly stood up and pointed to the boy still on the ground.

"How dare you bump into me you blind commoner?! You need to grow some eyes and watch where you're going!"

The boy sat on the floor stunned as he stared back at the girl who was glaring at him with a fuming demon face.

"Um…I'm sorry…I didn't mean to bump into you…"

"Humph, you think an apology is enough? Do you know who I am? I am the Shen Family's young miss! A little commoner like you dares to just bump into me and walk away?"

Tong Yan continued to scream at him as he started to panic. He…He already apologized, what more did she want from him? Money? But she just said she's from an influential family…surely, she wouldn't extort money from a 'commoner' like him. Wait, Tong Yan…Shen…wasn't she the one who almost murdered someone on the news? No way…would she capture him and torture him just for bumping into her?!

Tong Yan's screaming suddenly stopped as she took a glance at the book on the floor. Her eyes widened as she saw the title Never's FAQ by Autarch of Lords.

She quickly grabbed the book and flipped through the first few pages in shock. It was the real deal!

The legendary FAQ book written by the famous Autarch of Lords, Neverfire. It gave answers to all the questions you could ever ask in life. Due to the fact that there were such limited copies and high demand, she had never managed to get her hands on one. If she had this book, she would be able to get rid of Xinghe and regain Grandpa Shen's love. She would be the favorite granddaughter again!

Her eyes glittered as she turned her gaze back to the boy.

"You. How did you get this book?"

The boy was startled at her sudden change. "Eh? Um…well….I-I'm actually the one wh-who wrote…"

"Humph such a worthless commoner. What's with all the pointless stuttering? Can't you even speak properly? Let me tell you this, someone like you isn't suited to have this book. As such, I will kindly take this off your hands and put it to good use. This can count as compensation for earlier."

She gave the boy a final scornful snort before turning her heel and walking away.

The boy was still sitting on the floor wide-eyed and speechless as she walked away with the book in hand.
