4 I Don't Love Xinghe; I Love You!

Due to the construction of mechanical arm for Madam Xi and its human transplantation, Xinghe was spending all her waking time with Lu Qi for better understanding human functions, adaptations and bio-chemical functions of the human body.

Their relationship grew better and better. From an outsider's point of view, their relationship seemed quite intimate. But they didn't know what others thought about their relationship as neither of them cared a little of this friendship as for Xinghe she considered Lu Qi as her brother and for Lu Qi he…

One day while prototype resting a mishap occurred and the prototype got burst due to overloading of the central functionary machine. This explosion caused by the machine directly injured Xinghe.

Lu Qi was concerned for her as the explosion burned some parts of Xinghe's arms and chest. Being a doctor, he was quite concerned for her, and she was also the key player in the development of mechanical arm. To prevent the escalation of the burns he began assisting Xinghe in taking off her clothes.

While it was going on without their notice, two gentlemen entered the testing lab to see the progress of the mechanical arm. Upon seeing the ongoing actions in front of them, both were at first quite shocked, but as Lu Qi began removing further clothes of Xinghe, an authorized and angry voice was heard in the lab.

"What the hell do you think you are doing".

By listening to the voice both the members hands froze as they unmistakably recognized the owner of the voice to be Xi Mubai.

By not getting any sort of reply from them he again asked, " what are you both doing in the midst of the prototype testing".

Lu Qi was quite terrified as Mubai was the ex-husband of Xinghe and feared that he misunderstood the scenario.

But Lu Qi was unable to say anything in front of Mubai's death glare.

To this Xinghe finally came to the rescue of Lu Qi.

"He was helping me."

"In removing your clothes." Mubai's voice was filled with disdain.

"No, there was a mishap during the testing and he was inspecting my wounds," she replied calmly

"Do you think I am a fool?"

Xinghe couldn't take his jealousy anymore.

"Can you stop it. U know it as well as me he doesn't treat me like that"

"Oh!! I know how he looks at you. With starry eyes."

"He looks at me with the eyes of admiration."

To this Lu Qi finally thought of revealing his secret that he and Xinghe shared and blurred out " I don't love Xinghe. I love you."

Hearing his confession all the members were shocked in that room.

Xinghe didn't care either way and got up for the treatment of her wounds and left while looking at the eyes of Mubai like saying 'told you so'.

The other gentleman that entered with Mubai was certainly not happy after all this communion.

"How could you do this to me Mubai?"

But Mubai didn't heard or cared about him and went directly to Lu Qi

"What did you say? You love me?"

Lu Qi was unable to find any emotions on the face of Mubai but still admitted his previous words and said " yes" with a little reluctance.

While listening to Lu Qi's words he didn't lingered much longer as he knew Mubai and probably who he loved for the past 5 yrs. and the reason for the divorce.

While listening to his confession he was happy and lived happily ever after.
