The Fattest Chain Known To Mankind

I am teleported away, it seems we were all sent to different areas.

I quickly run around to see what my situation is and see a group of people fighting each other. After waiting for them to get low health, I run over and [Chain Lethality] the group, killing them all instantly, before using [Shadow Step] to look for more people.

(It seems that people in the same party spawned together, that must be why the battle looked like it was one group against another and not a free for all.) I think while realizing that meant I had a chance to one-shot the players who ranked top 10 due to the sheer amount of people they might have near them.

In order to get some distance and find players I activate [Shadow Step] continuously for about thirty minutes.

I continue running and using [Shadow Step] every time it's off cooldown as I step on a trap.

The trap wraps around my leg, so I simply use [Shadow Step] to get out of the trap before it fully activates.

The trap I was in explodes with fire and nearly a thousand people rush out from behind trees with weapons aimed at me

"That's him, he's the one who spanked me!" says the male leader of the guild I killed last time.

I look him in the eye and he instinctively covers his butt with both hands.

Looks like he isn't the leader of a small guild, but a decently sized one.

Then again, these could just be allies of his.

They are keeping their distance and decide to all cast magic while surrounding me.

As they begin using their spells, I use [Shadow Fan] an appearance in front of one of the mages after she's hit. I immediately recognized them as Mii from the series, tis but a shame I had to do what I did.

"I'm about to hit the fattest chain ever known to mankind," I say to Mii, the guild leader of The Flame Emperors.

"Wha-" Mii is unable to finish her sentence as I toss my dagger forward and grab it in reverse grip, signaling the start of my chain lethality.

Not wanting her to think I called her fat, I shout out the name of my skill hoping it would make more sense to her and everyone else who just got one-shotted by me.

[CHAIN LETHALITY] I shout out as thousands of cuts appear on all the players in the area, other than me, instantly killing them.

-In the lobby-

"Woah, that's so broken." One person said, shocked that everyone had died within seconds after finding their guild

"Is this real?!? First the girl with immortality, now this guy who can kill while using AOE attacks on everyone finishing them in one hit!" someone screamed in excitement

"Did you see that he just killed everyone there?" Another person said while having his mouth wide open in an O shape.

"I could fit dozens of mini corn dogs in there." A child said while looking at the person with his mouth wide open.

"What was that?" Said the person, he was too shocked about this to hear what the child had said.

"Nothing," The child said while looking at the screen floating in the game.

Everyone became quiet as soon the dragon mascot began speaking

"There's only one hour left! Currently in the first place is Payne, second place is Dread, and third place is Maple." The little dragon mascot said.

"As of now, if you defeat a top 3 player, you will get 30% of their points! Their positions will be marked on the map!" Said the dragon mascot

I then checked to see if I met the requirements for my class upgrade. I could get my super class, Sigil Knight, and upgrade to an ultra class, Sigil Knight Commander.

I quickly upgrade it, then check the requirements to upgrade my super class, Greatsword, into ultra class, Abyss Walker.

I thought being a Sigil Knight Commander would be a problem for me, but then I remember the lore here is not the same as the one from rouge lineage.

It seems like a quest is the only thing that's stopping me from reaching Abyss Walker.

The quest instructs me to run with a torch that's lit in black flames and use it to light a pit-fire at an abandoned temple and jump into the Abyss behind it right after.

I quickly start on the quest and try to equip my faceless, but it seems like I need to be using the greatsword to do this.

Tuning out anything else the mascot might have to say I dash in the direction of my quest.

I look on my map for the abandoned temple and see that the 2nd ranked player is there, I may as well get points from this.

I hop on top of my greatsword using telekinesis and fly in the direction of the temple, reaching it in around five minutes from where I was before.

I see a small crowd of players surrounding one person in front of the temple.

He skillfully kills them, striking at mostly vital spots and taking advantage of openings in their attacks.

I rush over so I can get points too and swing my greatsword down on one of the player's who laid on the ground, cutting them in half.

Particles flew into the sky.

"Oi, it isn't right to steal you know," Dread said while trying to see how strong I was.

I was clearly not a regular player, from the cowl I wore over my head, to the pressure I emitted.

I obviously was not going to play fair as I needed points and had only 55 minutes left to kill him and Payne as they are on the leaderboard, and I need to get first place, that's the entire reason I ditched school after all.

I quickly ride my greatsword again to the top of the abandoned temple, but Dread throws a dagger at me while I'm trying to reach the top of the temple.

I let it hit my arm and see it does decent damage, but not enough for what I want.

I reach the top of the temple and light the pit-fire using the black flames from the torch.

I then open my arms wide as everyone looks at me having completed my objective.

I lean backward and fall down into the abyss…

"Is he stupid or something?" People began to question what I did until seconds later.

*Woosh*

I shot out of the abyss and into the sky

The pitch-black greatsword that seemed to devour the light from its surroundings and new heavy armor I wore was primarily black and had a secondary color of grey.

Two human skulls hung at the side of my waist, inducing fear of people around me, thinking that I might kill them on the spot and take their skulls.

They looked like they wore rags and rejected items, compared to the majestic armor I donned on while in the abyss.

I begin to check my skills while I'm airborne still and see

[Abyss Walker Skill: Wrathful leap]: Do an aerial leap over a short distance, does an AOE knockdown, and max curse stack. This will also make you immune to fall damage so you can use this when falling from high places.

AN: Curse stack is a debuff that multiplies the amount of damage you take. The maximum someone can curse stack a single player is up to 125%

As I begin to land, I know I may die falling from such a height, so I activate [Wrathful Leap] when I get near the ground where Dread is.

"Here's payback for that dagger earlier!" I shout with the cowl still covering my head and use [Wrathful Leap].
