CHAP 17: Travel to a new world (again)

Days have passed since then. Miyata stopped at wave 281.

About the Doki Doki, they had already completed it. Miyata had already released it, and it has blown in popularity. Right now, they are making M*necraft.

Miyata didn't care if he earned much money or not. Because he made games for him to play and a cover-up for where the money comes from. He looks at the points he saves up for the past few days.

When Miyata clears wave 300, white light covers him. He then disappears.

At somewhere, in an alley, Miyata walks out of it. He then finds a nearby café. Miyata orders a coffee. He then takes out his laptop and starts researching this world. He is then surprised as he is in the Infinite Stratos world.

'Look like I have to stay in this world for a while. How should I act in this world? First, I need to steal the necessary material and knowledge to make my own IS. But should I ask for the help of the government or be an ally with Tabane Shinonono.'

Miyata thinks for a bit and makes his plan:

'Do on my own is plan C, ask for help from the government is plan B, and Tabane Shinonono is plan A. But plan A is only viable after a few months. Plan B acquires me to negotiate, which is bothersome. And plan C is only viable when I have a lab.'

Miyata then looks at the news about a male who can pilot an I.S. He then makes his identification and walks to a place that tests if any other males can pilot the I.S.

When Miyata gets there, he can see a long line of people. He waits there for a while. Then a person calls his name.

"Miyata Kame! Please come here!"

"Yes." (Miyata)

"Please touch this."

"Okay." (Miyata)

When Miyata touches it, he feels nothing. So he starts pouring his mana into it and forces it to activate. The suit then starts glowing, and everyone surrounding him is surprised by it.

"We find another one! Quickly! Report to the higher up!"

After the commotion, Miyata sees a person coming toward him, probably the higher up. That person then offers him a handshake:

"Miyata Kame, is it?"

"Yes, sir." (Miyata)

"Good! So, what do you think about going to the I.S academy? They provide excellent treatment. You should know that you will become a target, and the academy can protect you from dangers."

"Then I will go with your arrangement then, sir." (Miyata)

"Good then! You will be transferred there after a week, so use this time to pack up your luggage."

"Okay, sir." (Miyata)

After a few minutes of talking to each other, Miyata then leaves and goes to a hotel to stay. He hopes the government will give him a personal I.S. It's also fine, even if they don't give him one.

Research data is easy to get, as he hacked labs from all over the world. But the core is the tricky part, as it's hard to find one. But luckily, he got information on where to find one, and it's quite near him. He then stole it without causing any alarm, the place he stole it is from an organization called 'Phantom Task.'

"Hehe! They must be so mad that they lost two cores, such unlucky fellows! I might not even need to implant plan A, but I want the computer that Tabane possesses. I should ask her to make me one, or let me take a look at how to create one." (Miyata)

When Miyata went back to his hotel room, he took a shower. He then looks at the dark sky outside. He closes his eyes and starts losing in his thought.

'My mind feels heavier, my personality starts to change, and 'new' habit is forming.'

An example is right now, Miyata is snapping his fingers continuously. It's a 'new' habit. He does it when he is thinking or reliving his boredom. But he feels familiar with this.

'This feels weird. It's like when you get back what you should have, but only a few of it.'

Miyata opens his eyes and looks at the sky. He then lets out an abnormal smile.

'So that's why I feel odd. Fate sure works weirdly, as this is how my personality got more twisted back on Earth.'

'This reality is fake, just as I thought when I was on Earth. How can there be a world that is the same as anime? Hmm, let's start theorizing about reality, like back on Earth. It's the only thing that I am proud of is how broken I am.'

'First, this reality might be a fanfic novel, and I'm the main character, obliviously. Second, there should be a higher entity. And it creates this reality as an experiment site. Even though I'm more inclined to the first theory as it explains everything, why should I care even if it's real?'

'I live an easy life right now. Why should I even complain? Anyway, the second theory is about experimentation. It should be about merging two different lifeforms. If not, then how can you explain the fact that my personality is so twisted.'

'The system should be an observation tool to monitor me, then. Maybe it's may even be the thing that releases a bit of my personality, as the 'me' before is so different to the 'me' now, so it will create unnecessary variables.'

'Even if I'm wrong, it's fine. Time is still long. I should enjoy this life to the fullest.'

Back on Earth, because his mind is so broken, he didn't talk that much as it was troublesome and tiresome.

Anyway, about how to act in this world. Miyata has three choices, one is to be the good guy, the second is the neutral guy, and the last is the bad guy. He is more inclined in the second and third choices.

'Acting like a good guy makes me sick, but I would still act like one, as it's effective.'

'I want to try NTR Ichika by taking his sister and Houki. Sadly, their backstory will be too bothersome to create, so I have to drop that idea. My target of this world should be Charlotte, then. Although I like blonde hair, why can't I seem to get any girls with black hair?'

'With how many girls with blonde hair in my world, should I try to make a family tree?'

Miyata then smiles wryly at his thoughts. After that, he starts to feel tired, so he goes to bed and starts sleeping soundly.

The next day, Miyata is on the train to the I.S Academy. He must say, this world is quite awesome with all those advanced technologies.

'I must steal some technologies and implant them in my world. This world also has A.I. Man! My tech company will become so awesome. And my game company will be the side business.'

When Miyata goes to his class, the girls are looking at him. He is used to this as his face gets more handsome. If he has to judge from 1 to 10, his face value is an 8. Luckily, his hair decreases his charm. If he changes his hairstyle, he will look more handsome.

'If I were to change my hairstyle, I would change it into what a villain looks like.'

Miyata doesn't plan too close to Ichika as he doesn't see any value in doing so. He won't act straight out rude, but not too friendly, either.

Then people start to appear in the class. Miyata can see Ichika in the front row. Ichika then turns back to look at him with hoping eyes.

Miyata then gives a thumb up to him and takes a nap. When he hears the bell, he wakes up from his nap and sees a green-haired woman walking into this class.

"Everyone! Congratulations on your successful graduation! I'm the assistant homeroom teacher, Yamada Maya." (Yamada)

When she finishes her self-introduction, the classroom is still in silence. Yamada starts to get awkward because the students are focusing on Miyata and Ichika. But she quickly gets a hold of herself and continues introducing the school.

"Eh? Ah! From today onward, you are the students of this I.S Academy. This school is a boarding school. So you will be with each other even after school. So let's work hard and strive for the next three years, everyone." (Yamada)

The classroom air is still in silence, so she quickly says:

"T-Then let's start self-introducing, shall we? We will start with the numerical order." (Yamada)

Miyata can see Ichika is a bit nervous. Ichika then looks at the black hair girl near the window. But the girl ignores him. Ichika then looks at Miyata. But Miyata just shrugs his shoulders as he can't do anything.

"Miyata Kame-kun! We should have to start with the letter 'A' But we will start with the letter 'K.' Can you introduce yourself then?" (Yamada)

'Damn it! Why my name is in first! Hah…'

Miyata is a bit surprised, but he still stands up and says:

"I'm Miyata Kame. It's a pleasure to meet you guys. And I hope that we will have fun times together. That's all." (Miyata)

When Miyata finishes his introduction, the girls become dumbfounded, as his introduction is simple. When Ichika hears his introduction, his eyes start to shine. It's then Ichika's turn.

"I'm Ichika Orimura! It's a pleasure to meet you guys! And I hope that we will have great times together! That's all!" (Ichika)

When Ichika finishes his introduction, a woman with black hair comes to him and knocks him on the head.

"Au! Eh? Chifuyu-nee?" (Ichika)

Ichika then is knocked on the head again. Miyata laughs inwardly at this scene.
