11 Qi Condesation Realm

Fang Rou dodged a fist that rocketed towards her head and leaned backwards, keeping her balance she used the falling momentum to swing her legs at the lower body of her opponent and the power behind her swing, force him to back off.

Placing her hands on the ground and then doing a backwards cartwheel she stood steady and ready to attack her opponent.

Wei Jin who was facing her was sweating profusely as he stared her down. It was once again the season where the weather would be blistering hot and their attire was loose fitting and cooling. Both would wear minimal clothing in these seasons to cool down.

They both looked like young teens at the age of 15 and their features portrayed that they would look hansom and beautiful in the future. Wei Jin hair was tied up behind him to stop it from waving in his face and so was Fang Rou's.

Their bodies were slightly red as they had been practicing with each other. Now at the age of 10 they had both reached the Qi condensation realm. Well Wei Jin was 10 years old and Fang Rou was still 9 years old. In a few months though she would be 10.

Why is 10 an important age you may be wondering. 10 in an important age as it would be at this point that a clan would debut their child. It wouldn't happen at their actual 10th birthday and instead be set around 1 or 2 months after.

This was a big deal as it was used to show off the strength of a clan in how far a child had progressed by the age of their debut. Lots of the best would be able to reach above the middle level of the Qi condensation realm which would be the 6th layer.

While the absolute pinnacle would be having reached 8 or 9. For a child to have reached this stage in the Qi condensation realm was truly an indication of genius. Having only 12 levels in the Qi condensation realm to reach near the upper layer by the age of 10 was a huge deal.

Most children would be able to reach foundation establishment by the age of 12 with slower ones taking to the age of 14. Depending on their talent the best could usually reach foundation establishment at the age of 11.

If one could reach above the 8th or 9th level of Qi condensation by the age of 10 it was likely they could reach foundation establishment before the age of 11 and have a chance to reach the legendary Spirit pillar In the future. And not just reach that realm, maybe even go beyond that.

Such talent was usually only found in the greater clans with the best in the last 10000 years having reach Qi condensation level 8 at their debut, this genius had later gone on to the Spirit pillar realm and reached the high level of 11 spirit pillars, which had dominated the continent.

Wei Jin and Fang Rou had been sparring for so many years now that it was a habit to fight each other these days. At the start after his 8th birthday Wei Jin had been able to win consistently against Fang Rou who hadn't yet stepped into the Qi condensation realm, but later when she had also started on the path, the fights had become tougher and tougher.

At this point after 2 years Fang Rou generally beat Wei Jin in their fights as she was a cultivation genius and from a major clan. Even though he would lose a lot Wei Jin would continue to fight her on their days off and improve tremendously.

"Rou'er, Jin come into eat!"

Wei Jin mother called from a side court yard and the 2 people finally stopped their fight. Wei Jin was gasping for breath and Fang Rou was also slightly tired, but not as much as Wei Jin.

Right now they were both at the Wei clan and practicing with each other, after the visit to the Feng clan Fang Rou had been allowed to come to the Wei clan and meet Wei Jin parents. They may have been a bit nervous and overly cautious at the start but as the visits continued they had soon gotten back to normal.

Either Fang Rou would visit the Wei clan or Wei Jin would visit the Feng clan on the days they would have off and be able to meet each other. Today was the day Fang Rou came to the Wei clan and they had prepared food for her like usual.

After eating and saying her thanks she and Wei Jin left to go to the pond. They would always go to the pond that they met at to pass the time, sometimes fighting before or after going there.

At one point they had even started fighting at the pond area but after causing some destruction and getting the city guards to have to intervene, the Feng parents had forbade them from fighting there.

That didn't change much for them, and they had been a bit embarrassed as they noticed how much damaged they had caused to their surroundings the one time. Rushing out of the clan, just before he left Wei Jin got a look from his father and then a thumbs up.

Wei Jin nodded to his father and also gave him a thumbs up, he knew what he was meaning. Wei Jin's debut was coming up and was a very important event in his life. The clan had invited some others to come to the ceremony as he was actually very outstanding in the Wei clan.

Compared to the rest in his generation he was actually the best, because of his relationship with Fang Rou the patriarch was very generous when giving him cultivation resources and advice in his cultivation. This had led to him advancing pretty quickly and was already at the 7th level of Qi condensation!

This was considered genius level as he was a part of a minor clan and was a big deal to the Wei clan, though comparing him to Fang Rou who was a genius in a major clan wasn't funny. She had already reached the 9th level of Qi condensation and was still a few months off from her 10th birthday.

This was unprecedented and had her Father very happy; she would for sure break through the Spirit pillar realm in the future. Wei Jin knew that she was stronger than him and wasn't surprised or jealous, he had known she was a genius since he was 5 years old.

Even though he didn't care about it, if his parents were to find out what level she had reached already, they would easily be able to tell how important Fang Rou was to the Feng clan. They at this point still hadn't found out that Fang Rou was the daughter of Feng Shan and Feng Xiang er. It had never come up and her parents had told her not to tell other people.

It was fine for Wei Jin to know for now, but anyone else wasn't good. Actually after Wei Jin had left that night when he first visited, the next time he and Fang Rou had met she had asked him to keep it a secret and had thought nothing of the matter.

But that is way off the topic, with Wei Jin's debut coming up he hoped that Fang Rou would be able to come and be at it. It was a moment in his life that was irreplaceable and could not be repeated, to miss or not have a debut would be considered disgraceful and a smear on the life of someone from a clan.

It was a must.

The problem that Wei Jin had been having was the fact that he knew Fang Rou parents didn't want the other clans to know about their daughter Fang Rou. Personally he didn't know why this was as she was so amazing and a genius but he respected their wishes and never really bragged about her to people from his clan.

If Fang Rou was to come to his debut it would most likely be exposed who she was and possible what talent she had. He had been working himself up to ask her, but hadn't found the right time, he wasn't sure if it was a good thing either.

He had talked to his dad about inviting Fang Rou and without saying anything other than those words his father had laughed in a huge manner and slapped Wei Jin on the back.

"Oh, you're starting to think like that son. Well it's never too early to start. Leave it to me!"

His father then went into detail on the perfect way to ask Fang Rou to his debut. He thought his dad might have been thinking of something else when he was talking so passionately too him, but nether less listened intently and remembered ever word.

Having devised the perfect plan to ask her to come to his debut he was ready for the day to continue.

Making their way out of the clan they ran in the direction of the pond they frequented and were flying fast. After reaching the Qi condensation realm and reaching over the 7th level they both had speed that was incredible and they quickly reached a certain street.

The street was called Dragon Avenue and was the street they always went by to get ice lollies, because of the sweltering heat it was the perfect thing to snack on as they made their way. They had known the same merchant for a good 7 years now and talked to him every now and then about his life.

This time as they went around the bend to Dragon Avenue though something caught their sight immediately. The merchant that they frequented was being surrounded by a group of teenagers and was at the feet of a especially extravagant young man.

His robes covered his whole body and was extremely eye catching in such heat, the designs on it was a black gold color and looked very expensive. He held his head high and looked down in disdain at the merchant in front of him.

The robe had a picture of a tiger on its back and looked ferocious as it stood there.

"Would you dare repeat that again!"
