Kidna—Inviting

Hello readers!! Thank you for choosing my story, but before you all start I would like to clear some things.

2. English is not my first language so might be some grammatical errors.

3. This is my first time writing fanfiction so please feel free to criticize me but not to point of hate (criticizing something and hating it are two VERY different things).

4. I'm just writing this for fun so the updates might not be very consistent.

5. Lastly, please feel free to suggest anything specific you want me to write be it any fanfic you want me to make them react to, an OC of yours visiting the characters, songfic reaction, memes anything really. I'd really appreciate it.

In the TCF World:

Cale leaned his back onto the chair and thought about what he needed to do in the future.

'First, I need to see Choi Han tomorrow and do that.'

The corners of his lips started to slowly rise.

'I need to pick up a shield.'

To live long without dying. He had no intentions of fighting.

In order to achieve that goal, the first step was raising his defenses. Second was finding a recovery method. Third was being faster than anybody else. Fourth was a strength that does not hurt him but can kill others.

Of course, the most important thing was to avoid the battlefield or anywhere where there may be bloodshed.

Cale thought about these so called plans of his as he slowly closed his eyes with satisfaction. He was thinking about it even as he fell asleep.

'At least, I will not be beaten up even when the time comes for it in the novel.'

The Indestructible Shield. Cale was thinking about this first shapeless strength he was going to get as he fell asleep. The corners of his lips that had gone up did not seem like they would ever come down.

Fateful encounters did not have an owner. It was a first come first serve type of deal.

The important day. What did he need to do in order to calm his nerves and be successful? Cale thought the first step was to have a hearty breakfast.

He felt like the only thing he did after coming to this world was eat, but he was going to enjoy the meal since he will be busy for a while starting tomorrow.

What he didn't expect was to wake up in a huge room that looked oddly like a cinema from his world. 

And is that Ron sleeping on the seat right next to him?! Why is he sitting next to his scary butler-slash-ex-assassin of all people? (A/N: Did I do this just to make cale suffer? Yep. Am I going to regret it? Probably.)

Well...he should probably be thinking about where he is first but his priorities have never been very straight. Besides, it's not that he can do anything about it, if there is a person who can bring so many people here without their knowledge then isn't he just a shrimp compared to them?

He recognizes quite a few of the people here because the novel was quite descriptive about the appearances of the people but there are also many that he doesn't.

The protagonist, Choi Han seems to be here among all these people as well so he should be fine. Choi Han will probably take care of it all considering he's the main character and all.

Oh! The people seem to be waking up. Hopefully, he won't get caught in a fight or something, he still doesn't have the shield after all.

Right, he still doesn't have the shield, which means he has no way to protect himself! What if a fight breaks out? Ron should protect him, right? I mean he hasn't left yet so he's still his butler...yeah he doesn't think so. 

Should I find a place to hide in? But if the others woke up and saw me wandering around looking for something, won't it look suspicious as hell?

While Cale was lost in thought about whether he should go in a corner or hide or not, the others have woke up.

Everyone has different reactions. Some are panicking, some are observing their surroundings, some are just shocked, some are trying to deny reality by thinking that they are dreaming, some are angry and many other reactions.

"Young master-nim, do you perhaps know where we are?" Cale's thoughts were interrupted by a benign voice, though if you listen closely it will have a chilly edge to it, that voice belonged to none other than probably Cale's worst nightmare, his butler, Ron.

"No, I just woke up here too," Cale answered with a stoic face even though he was scared to the core from inside.

"I see." Ron smiled benignly once again which made Cale shiver internally.

Scary old man, I really to send him away with the main character soon. Cale nodded to himself internally. (A/N: My poor Cale...pfft-)

"Where are we?!"

"Who brought me here?!"

"Are you strong?! FIGHT ME!!"

Haa...so noisy, can't these people be a little quieter? Cale sighed deeply. He found these people who were shouting quite annoying. I mean he's panicked and wary too but he isn't shouting at the top of his lungs because of it.

Some people decided that violence was never the answer but a question to which the answer is yes (*ahem* Toonka *ahem*) and decided it would be a good idea to challenge whatever being brought all these people here without their knowledge.

Many people started channelling their powers, if not for the fact that something like this can destroy a kingdom or two, it would look quite pretty with all the different colours.

However, before any kind of damage can be done, all the powers died down and everyone was stuck in their seats unable to move due to some unknown force.

Suddenly, words started appearing on the big screen at the front.

[No Violence.] 

Before anyone can retaliate, there was another flash of light similar to the one that brought them here.

Once the light died down, the people in the theatre could see many people who oddly looked similar to them.

"Huh?!"

"What the-"

"Where am I?!"

"Who brought me here?!"

"Show yourself!!"

Just when those people were preparing to attack, they were forcefully seated in the seats too.

Just then, the words on the screen changed once again.

[ Welcome, people from the TCF and TBOAH World. Your powers have temporarily been removed to prevent any property damage. Please calm down so that you can be given a proper explanation for our kidnap- inviting you all here.]

This made some of the level headed people calm down, although they were still wary.

Some people made a deadpan face after seeing the words on the screen correcting themselves to write inviting instead of kidnapping.

"Everyone if I may have your attention please, I think we all should calm down and assess this situation. Considering the fact that whoever brought us here is capable of temporarily removing our powers but still hasn't harmed any of us should mean that they don't have harmful intentions towards us." 

"As expected of the shining star of the Roan kingdom, Alberu Crossman. Thank you for your help!"

Just as alberu finished speaking and people were starting to calm down, a cheerful voice caught from the front of the room caught people's attention.

At the front of the room, the people could see a girl who looked to be about 14-15 years old ( A/N: Is this my real age? Who knows? Not you that's for sure :) ) and unique features. Well, at least most of them, Cale and both Choi Han thought of them as typical Asian features.

The girl had jet black shoulder-length hair and dark brown eyes which almost looked black. She also seemed to have eye bags which made it look like she hadn't slept for days. Her clothing choice was interesting, to say the least...it was a cat onesie. It was quite peculiar for even Choi Han and Cale who knew what it was.

She looked very beautiful which made people stare at her without realising it. She seemed to have a cheerful grin on her and it looked like she would jump from joy any second now.

Although it changed to one full of nervousness once she was subjected to all the vicious glares of the people.

"Umm...Can you all please stop staring at me so viciously? I already have enough anxiety from standing in front of so many people." 

That didn't seem to have been the right answer as people only hardened their glares. Well, at least some naive people stopped probably feeling pity for the young girl or something.

Guess the sharp people realised that although the girl did look nervous she was also sharply observing them all. 

"Woah! Guess that didn't work very well, anyways you all still need to calm down for me to properly explain the situation."

The quick change in attitude made some people scared, especially those who believed the girl was a shy one and stopped glaring.

'Haa...now I get why Cale calls all these people vicious.' 

"Excuse me miss, may I ask who you are and why you brought all of us here?" A beautiful and majestic blonde elf asked.

'AHH!! GOLDIE GRAMPS JUST TALKED TO ME AHHHHHHH!!! How lucky of me okay okay calm down, don't creep him out by you hardcore simping now. I gotta make a good impression .'

Although the girl was internally fangirling very hard on the inside, she kept her cool on the outside.

Unfortunately for her, the people in the theatre were very sharp and they were observing her every move. So they noticed how she looked like she wanted to jump from excitement or how her eyes sparkled.

"Of course Eruhaben-nim, you all may call me Author-nim or Anne. As you all can see there seem to be people that look like you all on the left side of the room, the reason for that is because they are your counterparts from another dimension. You see, your two worlds are very similar yet different at the same time, the people on the left side of the room who I call TBOAH people are currently on the path to destruction after a twenty-year war. It is also what is supposed to happen to the people on the right side who I call TCF people, but due to the interference of a certain individual, instead of destruction, you all manage to obtain victory in just two years. I have brought you all here to prevent destruction for the TBOAH people and to see the future to prevent the certain individual who changed the fate of the TCF world from getting hurt and to give him the love that he very much deserves." 

The gir- Anne said in a calm voice as if she didn't just drop multiple bombs on everyone.

Everyone was flabbergasted by the situation. Things like alternate dimensions exist? There was a person who can change the very fate of the world?! They all had many questions.

The people on the left side were quite scared and humiliated to hear someone say that their world was gonna be destroyed as if they were talking about a random conversation. It was like a slap to their face to know that all their struggles were just in vain. 

The people on the right side were quite relieved to know that their world wouldn't end up destroyed. Although a lot of them were also wary, how powerful must someone be to change the fate of a world? 

However, they all had one thought in common: Who was the person who will apparently save them all?

"Author-nim, may we ask some questions?" Alberu gave his usual sca-princely smile.

"Of course! I'd be happy to satiate everyone's curiosity. Though there might also be things that I can't answer for the time being."

"What would you even get from helping us?" Bud asked while ignoring his best friend Glenn's whisper to stay quiet. 

"Entertai- *ahem* Nothing I just love to help."

Anne fake coughed to cover her little slip-up but unfortunately, people already heard it.

Everyone just gave her a deadpan expression.

" *Ahem* Anyways, I'm sure you all are wondering who the special person we'll be seeing right?" 

Fortunately, her attempt to direct people's attention worked as everyone was curious about who that person was.

"It is none other than...drumroll please...OUR BELOVED CALE HENITUSE!!"

"Huh?"

"Who?"

"That trash?!"

"Hmph! How can a trash like him save the world?!" 

The people who knew about Cale Henituse and his trashy reputation couldn't help but doubt.

Meanwhile, Og! Cale and the henituse family were all shell-shocked.

"*Cough* HUH?!" Cale who somehow got his hands on some wine did spit take and choked on his saliva. He already thought that it was probably Choi Han, I mean who else would it be other than the main character right? 

"Young master-nim are you ok?" Ron who sitting right next to Cale looked just like concerned grandpa. Well, to everyone else that is, to cale it Ron sounded as vicious as ever.

'I just heard that I'm supposed to change fate or some shit when I just want a peaceful slacker life, of course, I'm not ok. This Anne person must be mistaken right? How was he, a trash, supposed to save the world? He was just a minor villain for fuck sake.' 

Cale was so shocked that he almost lost his stoic expression. Key word being almost. 

"I'm alright." 

Deruth was shocked and worried for his son. How can he not be when his son would apparently save the world? What if something happened to him?

Ron was quite shocked too, his puppy of a young master who was known as trash would save the world?

Alberu Crossman was shocked as well, from what he knew Cale Henituse was just a trashy young master who drank and caused a ruckus all day, such a person would save the kingdom? 

'No, I can't judge him just from the rumours, I'll have to observe him and make my own judgement.' 

Og! Choi Han couldn't believe it, the person who he beat to a pulp for insulting his first family in this world would supposedly save the world? 

'Hah! What a joke!'

"Now now everyone, calm down. I know it might be hard to believe but that's just because you're all idiots *ahem* I mean you can just watch for yourself. After all, seeing is believing am I right? " 

Anne found these people quite annoying. How dare they think her beloved cale was just trash and couldn't do it?!

However, even though she was annoyed, she had a job to do so she decided that she would just get started now and not pay attention to these annoying people who insulted her Cale.

A/N: 

I have a question for you guys, recently I read a fanfic that had the concept that Kim rok soo and cale were the same people and I really liked that idea, so kinda want to do the same but I want to ask for all of your opinions. If I do end up adding this AU then it will be something like this: 

When 40-year-old Cale Henituse died GoD offered him a deal to go back in time but since reversing time can take a toll on his soul that's why he will be reborn in another world and the memories of his first life would be sealed. Then, once his soul has recovered he would go back to 18-year-old Cale's body. 

Please tell me if you like this idea

Also, should I just start from the very beginning or random interesting chapters?

Oh and if you haven't noticed I was pretty vague in telling who was present and who wasn't, I did this in the first chapter so that I can shamelessly add or remove people as I please :)
