Adrian's face twitched in anger, turning all red.

"I am sorry I forgot to bring your favorite dessert" The lady interrupted their heated argument and they looked away.

"Oh, it's so nice of you" Clara quickly turned towards the lady and watched her place the plate of moon cake with the other dishes.

"Please enjoy" With that the lady returned leaving the two alone once again.

Clara was surprised to see all of her favorite dishes resting before her eyes. However, she couldn't appreciate Adrian for being generous after what he said to her.

Clara didn't want to bring up the past but Adrian liked mocking her by spouting nonsense about her.

Closing her eyes Clara took a deep breath and started eating the food.

She made sure to quickly finish the meal and leave the place as soon as possible.

Whereas Adrian took his time.
