Chapter 9

"I'm so sorry."

He says and starts choking on his sobs. Fabian pulls him into a hug, As I watch this unfold. Fabian then speaks for him.

"We accept you. But our relationship is a little complicated... Cmere" 

He says, wanting me to come closer. I go over and sit next to them, and he pulls me into his other arm. 

"My relationship with you will be normal, I accept you as my Truemate, romantically, and platonically. However you want. But Adonis is a little different. He just wants to take it slow with you, he hasn't had very good relationships with women in the past, and he just wants you to understand that. He wants a little time. He wants to be strictly platonic for now."

I nod my head, relieved that they didn't reject me. Adonis lets go of Fabian to reach over and hug me instead.

"Thank you for understanding."

He whispers out in the crook of my neck. 

"Would you like to go to dinner with us as a start?"

Fabian asks. 

" Yes, of course, I would love to."
