Chapter 99

"What sort of affairs, Issy?" , his voice sounded at the other end of the phone and I snorted out in disbelief.

I couldn't imagine that Elizabeth hadn't told him yet about her pregnancy , so I said ,"Joshua, I would suggest you to please talk about it to Elizabeth first, and then talk to me after you decide on how to handle the matter. I'll talk to you later."

I hung up the phone after saying my piece and turned my attention to my mom and Aurora , who were now looking at me , apparently waiting for me to tell them what was going on.

"Mom, Aurora...", I started , but just then Gabby rushed inside my parents' room, or rather, my mom's room and sat down quickly beside them.

"Go on ahead. I didn't want to be left out when you started with your explanation about what happened between you and Joshua", she said, which earned her a jab on her side from Aurora.

She only shrugged and replied , "What? I was speaking my mind."
