Chapter 96

After the tiresome night where Joshua had made love with me for almost the whole night , I woke up feeling sore all over .

The audacity of the man as he left a note on the bed which read , "I made breakfast for you. You must be tired out. Rest well ", made me blush , even though I lay alone in bed now .

I got up from the bed and covered myself with the bedsheet , though there wasn't anyone in the room but myself , and went to the bath to soak and clean myself.

I ran the bath and was peacefully enjoying my phone and browsing my instagram feed , when I received a call from Elizabeth .

I was surprised that she would call me after everything that had happened , and wondered why on earth would she call me at this hour .

"Hello Elizabeth", I answered , without much emotion and from the other end , she replied rather nervously , "Issy , hi ."

I was already irritated that she had called me , but I tried to remain as calm as possible and waited for her to speak .
