Chapter 118

Anna, my sweet daughter! How could it happen to her? Why would she faint suddenly? Did someone push her intentionally and then make excuse that she had fainted? How serious was her condition?

My mind started running wild with all these questions and my tears started falling. My poor baby, I needed to get out of here and be by her side. I quickly started arranging my stuffs to leave, while wiping the tears off my face which seemed to fall freely.

Seeing my reaction, Joshua came to my side and said , "Issy, what happened? Who was it?"

I just looked at him and repeated , "I need to go right now. I need to be by her side. I-"

He took me in his arms and shushed me and said gently,"Calm down Issy. I'll take you there. You'll be by her side in no time."
