Chapter 113

The rest of the week went without much troubles from the kids and on Sunday, I allowed them to even watch the TV and access the computer and my phone. 

I didn't want the kids to spend their days only playing computer games or reading their books whole day, so I took them out for a walk in the park nearby, while my mom was left to entertain her guest , Mr. Keith King.

He had been pursuing my mom relentlessly and I felt sorry for him that my mom wasn't giving him the green signal. My mom had married young and she was barely fifty now and still looked young and beautiful , and it was understandable that Keith had fallen for her at first sight .

But for my mom, though my dad had passed away five years ago, she somehow didn't have the courage to move on and take the plunge for a future with someone new.
