a brief history of a singular pokemon

An ordinary person without much knowledge about Pokémon migrates to this wonderful world, discovers their adventures while finding out why they sent it and how to return to being human. This is a fanfic about pokemon that I write in my spare time, English is not my first language, it started as a task, but it kept growing. I would appreciate any criticism either on the history or the grammar. I only do it for entertaining. None of these characters belong to me. Everything is owned by Nintendo and game freak. CAP 33

In the combat arena I am standing in front of the champion Cynthia. It is a somewhat risky bet, but if it works to be able to gain power faster than expected.

"That the fight between the champion Cynthia and the mythical Pokémon Victini begins"

"Come on Garchomp, I choose you"

"Garch" from his pokeball comes out a kind of hammerhead shark, it also has a red belly with a yellow pentagon at the bottom. While letting out a loud roar.

This one is on a completely different level than Alder's 'he must be a champion, her aura is overwhelming' Cynthia seems like she doesn't play games either. I use their main Pokémon to measure my level 'How do I know it's their main Pokémon? Because he has a fucking mega stone on his neck "

"Let the combat begin" the butler raises his flag and begins the meeting.

"Garchomp, use dig." The shark spins rapidly and sinks to the ground.

I quickly become invisible and float as high as possible, watching for it to come out of somewhere.

"How?"

"He disappeared!"

"That won't do, Garchomp!"

"Garch" off the ground shoots out at tremendous speed very close to my position.

"Wow!" he stays a few steps from where I am, he was too close. How did you find me? It must be because it is a shark, they are guided by smelling or it was by sonar ... Not that was the Dolphin ... Maybe. Shit this is not the time to think about that, focus on the fight.

"Garchomp, focus." The creature hangs in the air, as if sensing the entire battlefield.

How the fuck is it floating? Do not leave that, the important thing is that it is difficult for him to locate me.

With great care I go down onto the battlefield and kick a stone.

"Garch"

"Now, Dragon Rush" A powerful blue aura envelops him and he shoots out at tremendous speed.

"Smash" even though it crashed again a few steps from me, the force of the blow made it go back a bit.

'Quick' I use Fire Blast and hit it directly, well this doesn't end, I quickly use Searing Shot to secure a second hit.

"Garch" he roar and I see that the attacks I managed to connect directly did practically no damage to him. The problem is that now I am visible.

"You got it, Dragon Claw." His sickle-shaped fins start to glow and he lunges at me.

"shit!" I dodge his first attack and go back to being invisible, his second attack rose to me "but it's nothing serious" he continues to drop a series of blows in my direction "somehow he manages to perceive me" I move away from the Pokémon and again he remains still.

'He's analyzing the field again' very carefully, I again kick a stone.

"Garch" lunges towards me, I manage to dodge him and I throw a Fire Blast directly at his back, this time I don't stay for the second hit, I disappear again.

"Garch" again used the same technique and landed another direct hit.

"Garchomp, don't let he play with you, focus."

"Garch" slowly closes his eyes, I quickly appear and fire a Fire Blast directly in his face.

"Garch" well that was not expected to appear so quickly.

"It's very annoying, well you want to play, Garchomp uses Draco Meteor" the shark's stomach begins to glow and a powerful ball of energy shoots up into the sky.

'Shit, that's not the attack of a final boss' I go back to being invisible and I see how the energy is divided into several fragments. A series of meteorites bombard the entire battlefield.

'A field attacks' and I barely manage to dodge them, the meteorites leave a cloud of dust.

"You already have it, use Giga Impact"

'I'm screwed up. Can I find myself by my trail in the dust?' The shark is covered with a yellowish energy and at a tremendous speed it is heading towards me.

"Smash" crashes to the ground making a crater. This time I was not so lucky, it was not a direct hit, but it did hurt me too much.

The dust clears, on one side is Garchomp who still looks very energetic, although I gave him several direct attacks, he does not look very hurt.

On the other side I am in a sorry state, it seems that I can barely stand up 'even though he did not directly attack me if he did me great damage, I don't think I can bear another one of those'

I stare at Garchomp, he gives me an arrogant look, as if telling me to give up that I will never have a chance.

'Heavens, the difference in levels is abysmal, even with tricks I can't beat him. If he fought honestly I'm sure he would tear me apart in a matter of second. '

"Ptui" I spit out some blood.

"Okay, shark bait, let's start the second raund" I move the fingers of my hand as if prompting him to come, parodying that famous kung-fu fighter.

"Garch" roars loudly and with his fins gleaming he lunges at me.

I go back to being invisible and slowly walk away from the Pokémon.

"Garchomp, calm down, focus on feeling his presence"

The shark gazes into his eyes, but immediately a Fire Blas lands on his face.

"Garch" glares at me, prepares to go straight after me.

"Garchomp, don't let it disturb you" he closes his eyes and immediately leaps back.

"..."

"Garchomp, calm down, don't let he play with you"

The shark once again closed his eyes, he threw a Fire Blast at him, but he easily dodged it.

'It seems that the same trick will not work again' as long as the shark is concentrating on detecting me, I look at the battlefield looking for something that can help me.

'Think, think, what would Dio do? ... Well that could work' I advance carefully trying not to alert the Pokémon, I approach the hole in the ground that he had made earlier and hide like the rabbit that I am.

"I can only do this once, so it better work." Once in the hole I become visible and use confusion on some stones, I put them together in such a way that it looks like a doll of my size. Well I put it down in the hole and peek out slowly and see that Garchomp is still with his eyes closed.

'It's now or never' I shoot him a Searing Shot

"Garch"

"Garchomp, flamethrower" the two fire powers come out collide creating a powerful explosion.

I throw the stone doll upwards, the doll comes out of the smoke ball, but thanks to its speed and poor visibility, it is not quite distinguishable.

"Come on, Dragon Rush" the shark is enveloped in blue energy and goes straight towards the doll.

I seize and charge my most powerful attack.

"Smash" the shark collides with the stones and makes them dust.

"How?"

I take advantage of the distraction and as if it were a meteorite of fire I cross the entire battlefield to hit Garchomp in the air.

"Crash" a V of fire is created in midair.

"Boom" immediately an explosion covers the entire area.

"Garchomp!"

"but what happened?"

After the shock the smoke clears slowly. I can see how Garchomp is lying on the ground.

'You were a worthy opponent' I turn my back on him and walk away as if I were in an action movie 'I really did, V-create is too broken, I must not abuse that movement'

"Garch" a loud noise was heard throughout the battlefield.

Garchomp gets up, breathes heavily, the attack seems to have done him serious damage, but not enough to stop it.

"Garch" his aura begins to grow, his mega stone glows brightly.

"Mega evolution, now I'm really screwed ... Well I can't win, I'd better escape."

Garchomp's power makes the battle arena feel too heavy aura. All who watch are oppressed by the dense aura. Even chunks of rocks are begin to rise from the power he is generating.

"Garchomp, that's enough"

"Garch"

"I said enough is enough" Cynthia's aura begins to grow in the same way.

"Garch" Garchomp calms down. Everyone breathes easy again, Cynthia takes advantage and returns her Pokémon to her pokeball.

The atmosphere on the battlefield is too tense.

"Splat" Cynthia gives a little clap.

"Why don't we leave it here for now" everyone shakes their head up and down.

"Now it's dinner time" the tension breaks and everyone runs to the mansion.

I just flop down on the sand floor and watch them go away.

"That was too close" I give a heavy sigh and look up at the sky.

In the middle of the battlefield you can see a mythical Pokémon sitting looking out to the sea watching the sunset.

Victini is in a sorry state, although his injuries are not serious, his face looks disappointed. He watches the sunset sighing heavily, as if he has a great load on his shoulders.

A second Mythical Pokémon watches it from afar and approaches it.

"You were too lucky"

Meloetta sits to one side and looks to the horizon anyway. She has a worried face.

"You know me, I'm a walk rabbit's foot, ha ha ha"

Victini tried to make her laugh at a bad joke.

"..."

"..."

Since him little trick didn't work, Victini tries something else to break the ice.

"What did you want to achieve?" she asks him seriously.

"Well ... you know"

"Mmm"

"I just wanted to know where I am, I know she is very childish, but I wanted to measure my strength with the best in the world. I am still very weak ... Honestly I am afraid, of failing my mission, of not meeting expectations "

Meloetta watched with the concern in her gaze.

"I feel that somehow if I continue down this path. I will end up making a mistake so serious that I cannot solve it and I will end up hurting everyone"

Meloetta walks over and puts her head on Victini's shoulder.

"You know ... I'm scared too ... Since I can remember, I have lived alone, the people around me treat me as if I were made of glass, no one dares to approach me"

Victini can smell a reassuring fresh flower scent.

"I basically live in a golden cage, the worst thing is that I had not realized it until I ventured into the world ... I discovered things that I had never imagined ... This world is really beautiful, I am afraid to destroy it, but I am more afraid not to be able to defend it "

Victini had never thought about her, he knew she had a bad time in the past, but he didn't think it would affect her so much. he clenches his fists and thought he wouldn't let her feel lonely again.

"You taught me that we should embrace our dreams so don't worry I'll always be there for you, to scold you if you do something wrong"

"Thank you, Meloetta"

Victini stares at her without realizing

'Wow'

He gasps before can utter an exclamation.

Green hair that stands out from her with her white skin, blue eyes that look towards the horizon, the face that she had was a fusion between worry and sadness.

'This ... It's not my fault ... Is it?'

In her hair shines a small piece of jewelry, which although it cannot be called expensive for some reason in it makes she shine more.

'That hair clip'

As soon as Victini recognizes the brooch, Meloetta turns her head to see he.

"You are still wearing that brooch"

"Oh this?"

Meloetta, at Victini's words, collects her hair, highlighting more the brooch that he had given her.

Meloetta was surprised, she was touched by her gift.

What Victini did not know is that this brooch, while simple, contained a special meaning. It was a very faithful fantasy replica of the one used in the Pokémon Princess. It was the first movie that Meloetta saw and she was almost obsessed with every detail. The interviewer gives the princess a brooch and promises that, although he cannot be with her, he will always take care of her.

'Yes, that's enough' Meloetta was glad that he appreciated her heart so dearly.

"Maybe you might want to take it off"

Victini saw the brooch as something simple, he thought that he really looked good on her and therefore should get something of a better quality.

"You don't like me wearing it"

"It's not that ... You look amazing ... I just think you can use something better"

"No ... I like it, it means that someone cares about me ..."

Victini looked at Meloetta as she smiled at him.

At that moment her eyes met, Meloetta's voice trailed off. They both had their faces very close to each other and they couldn't help but blush, they both turned their heads to opposite sides.

The silence that was uncomfortable at first was now not, a relaxing atmosphere could be felt. With nothing more to say, the two creatures stood in the middle of the battle arena, gazing at the stars.

For some strange reason Victini no longer felt worried, somehow he felt that the load on his shoulders had lessened.
