levels (magic system)

Every awakened individuals strength is determined by levels, which can be increased by strengthening a person's own code or absorbing code from other entities by killing them.

For a person to increase their stage and ascend, they have to receive 10 times the previous level that they held before at the beginning of the stage they had.

An example would be that fact that all Advents start off as level 1 so they have to get to level 10 to become a Reborn, but for them to become a cosmic sigil they have to become level 100 and so on.

The more levels a person gains the more difficult it is to level up and therefore the stronger opponents they have to kill, also keep in mind that depending on how dissimilar the abilities of you and your opponent are also depends on the amount of code you could get.

An example would be that if you mainly use fire abilities but you get experience from a water-based opponent then It would be less effective if you were both using fire abilities mainly.
