Greeting people are as easy to me as it is to breathe.

I’ve been doing it as the Fiancee of the Crown Prince for as long as I can remember.

I know how to act as a proper Fiancee.

… But it has never felt as awkward as it is right now.

The Empress, Cyrus, and… Myself standing before me on a higher platform.

It was easy at first, the first to come to greet us were simply high-ranking nobles and those who work as Ministers within the Palace. Then came Father, and Brother who shared some pleasantries. Next came those familiar with us… and now we’re here.

I thought I’ve already prepared myself to face what disdain they may show me…

As it turns out, their gazes of distrust are still painful.

“Mother, Cyrus, Lillian.” Callisto calls out to them as though he doesn’t notice, pretending as if everything is right with the world. “I’d like to introduce you to my fiancee, Lady Rosanna.”
