11 Building a Team

I woke up once again in my room, but this time in cold sweat. I clearly remember the frightening feeling of being crushed by a grip. Although I could not see what it was, I knew I could not beat it alone, even if I were to train for a couple of lives. Although others may have a hard time believing in the supernatural, I had no qualms about believing it for just my rebirth alone tells me that the supernatural exists. I also now know that my son is probably involved with the supernatural. I do not know when it happened, but I knew I would not be able to convince him out of it, especially if the reason is Wu Die. Although I care about my son's life, I can not selfishly deny his precious time with Wu Die, or I would regret it for the rest of my life. Just having me suffer alone is enough, I don't need to see another women growing old alone, nor my son suffering in silence between his mother and lover.

Once again, I became young master Ye's trusted housekeeper. During the five years, I would research with all my skills the supernatural and the people who deal with them. Although scarce, I managed to find multiple instances of the supernatural, especially in classified files. As I knew that I could not deal with it alone, I needed a team of special individuals that are trained to deal with such. I know there are already such teams in existence, but I needed my own for my selfish need of only saving my son. In order to do that, not only did I need people, I need weapons, info, and mostly money. Hence, during my five years, I also started dabbling into stocks. I studied stock exchange and many related areas, then using my future knowledge of known profitable stocks, I invested the money I earned through all my side jobs. Although I lost money on many occasions due to my inexperience, my future knowledge allowed me to still able to make much more money than I ever had in my past lives combined. Some of them are still coming in as I invested in stocks that would do well even after five years.

Then, the anticipated night came once again. I quickly headed over to room 1394 once again as I waited for him to pull me in once again. Unsurprisingly, the door opened, and he appeared once again. This time, it seemed that he did not stare at me in shock, but with his deep blue, queer eyes, as if asking, why are you here already; however, he eventually pulled me in all the same as I was pressed against the door once again. For the first time, he said something different to me, "Were you waiting for me?"

I was shocked by what he said, but his soothing scent was really what I've been waiting for. For some odd reason, every time I smelled his scent, I would forget about my past and could not help myself but bend to his will. I timidly nodded in the dark, but like he could see me with his magical eyes, he chuckled as he leaned in asking the same question as before, "Are you willing to bear my child?"

I took another sniff of that soothing scent as my heart raced. Then, I smiled while leaving my burdens behind and replied, "I'm Yours".

Once again, passion ensued. I did my best to stay awake and managed to feel his appetite as he tasted me with different flavors; however, I eventually still passed out because it seemed his hunger was never-ending.

Once again, I awoke to bright sunshine. I lazed on the bed as I reminisced his smell, and I could not help but wonder if he is part of that world as well, but I clearly remember young master Ye being as normal as can be, or is it my misconception?

However, I stopped worrying about this issue for I know I probably will never see him again, whether he is from that world or not. I know I had pressing matters to handle, and I must start building my team to help me take on my future.

Once again, young master Ye left, leaving me with his measly amount of pay. Although it was not a lot, but it will be sufficient to cover some aspects of my livelihood so I don't have to direct extra funds over because I will need all the funds I could get to support my team in researching how to deal with the supernatural.

Once again, I experienced the wonderful feeling of giving birth to him, and I brought him back to the same apartment that I'm beginning to be attached to. As I raised little Fu'er, I began gathering my team members for my hunting team. With the money I saved along with the income I am still receiving, I did not have to work much and could put my full focus on Fu'er and my team. By the time Fu'er entered university, my team had already expanded to a small team of ten members, not including me. It was half males and half females, a perfect balance. Both research and battle occupations were also split among the two genders, with 2 male and female researchers along with the rest as fighters. By fighters, I mean they are real fighters against the supernatural. All of them already had experience with dealing with supernatural, albeit not a lot. When I told them about the invisible being that was my target, they gladly accept as some said they had experience dealing with invisible beings already. The researchers would find effective ways that could harm these supernatural beings by researching history, ancient texts, myths, and experience of the fighters. Through a bit of hacking along with a load of money, I was able to acquire guns for my team which were stored at an adjacent condo to my condo in New York City, where the team stayed.

Once again, Fu'er left with Wu Die to Camp DG, and the team prepared by surveying the forest while setting up detection devices for invisible beings. I finally thought the team was ready with all this preparation. Come what may come, for I will slaughter you for harming my son.

Then, the day came, and the future was always unexpected.
