"My Diamond."

"Yes Pearl?"

I asked Pearl as I sat on the throne of my crown ship that is currently stationed on the dark side of the moon, the movement and work of Gems can be heard as she entered my bubble and got into her standard salute position.

"There are reports coming in from the scouting team and first contact was made ahead of schedule."

"Report." I ordered

"The squad you marked as 'candidates' made contact with a group of 5 natives. Reports indicate they are not military units and may have been at the location for irregular civilian movement."

"We're they dealt with?"

"Yes, they were executed in an efficient and concise manner."

"Good, they responded appropriately. This is a reminder we should pay attention to in our expansion across the universe. This is a low level world and yet we come across unexpected circumstances."

"Yes my Diamond." Pearl agreed with a smile "It's a low level word and so it's better to make mistakes while we can afford to."

I looked at her and reached out to pet her with a finger as I put my leg across the arm rest to rest in a casual position.

"Look at you learning." She blushed at this, I made you function with my looks not my actions, Hahahah. "Well at the end of it, they managed to fix it before it could be a problem. With that in mind, issue a statement to them and let them continue as they were."

"Yes… my Diamond." Pearl responded in a natural tone and a blushed face as I continued to pet her.

Pulling away I then asked.

"Tell me about the planet."

"Yes my Diamond, what in particular do you want to know?"

"Give me a full summary of the species, only use data accessible by lower authority Gems." I further ordered as Pearl pulled up a screen from her bracelet.

"Yes my Diamond. The native species are a humanoid race divided into four major ethnicities. They are fire, water, air, and earth. This is due to the fact on how they can generate and manipulate their respective elements with sub-categories and variation within them."

"How has this affected their civilizational development?" I questioned as I stared at screens showing scenes from across the planet and Pearl began explaining.

"There are five major continents and four of which hold a majority of respective elements users and the last one being a type of neutral/mutual ground."

"So a fire nation, water nation, earth nation, air nation, and a type of republic?"

"Yes, that would be an appropriate statement." Does Avatar exist here? Is this the planet of 'The Legend of Korra' or is it all a universal coincidence? The Republic was more of a city than a continent, hmm?

"Tell me about each nation, start with fire." I asked as multiple screens of forests, animals, and plants flash by, each consisting of one or more colours of the spectrum.

"The flora and fauna largely hold properties relating to heat, fire, and other properties and pose significant threat to the populace. This is the case for every nation for their respective elements and the republic continent is a mixed bed of them all."

The screens faded as new screens popped showing villages and architecture ranging from villages-to rock and stone cities.

"The Fire nation has more direct combative ability then the rest and their development is around silver to gold age, but have yet to achieve anything beyond melee, primitive long range weaponry, and advanced forms of air transportation. They primarily live in surface areas and their aerial method of transport was largely inspired by the air nation."

"Makes sense they don't develop weapons since their bodies serve them as well. Certainly not an innovative sort are they?"

"As always my Diamond you are correct."

The screens changed to show cities and structures located in cliffs, peaks of mountains, and intricate systems of migrating floating houses. Pear then continued.

"The next is the Air nation. They are ahead of other nations in terms of travel, transportation, or mobility and are always ahead in terms of technology in those areas. Despite this they have no problems with agriculture's development and have means to procure steady sources of food. They live in mixed areas of high altitude such as the peaks of mountains and their bodies have an affinity with air and are able handle the environmental impact it may have."

So they have tough and adaptive bodies, I wonder what would happen if they reached the stars. Not like it will happen anymore, with me here.

The images changed once again as pictures of towns, cities, and locations near or in bodies of water flashed into existence. Once they popped up Pearl continued.

"The water nation has immense capability with farming, agriculture, and resource production and has immense naval capabilities. Their capabilities to withstand long term assaults are second only to the Earth nation, by a small gap as well. All in all, they are a horrible enemy in the water and in attribution."

The screens changed to show strong and surprisingly plain structures of buildings, transport areas, and towns.

"The Earth Nation.." Pearl began to speak but I interrupted her.

"That's enough Pearl, I got the point from the surveillance and that they are the builders. The central continent is a mix of everything so we'll leave it for last, the fact that it exists shows an era of coexistence for the species, correct?"

"Astute observation, my Diamond." She responded in a polite tone for my interruption.

"I'm sorry Pearl, I didn't mean to be rude."

"M-m-my Diamond please don't apologize, I could have gotten to the point quicker." Why does she seem more bothered by this than my interruption. Pearl from the show took centuries and the death of..Rose…

Anyhow, I guess it'll take some time for her to be able to do her own thing. Now that I think about it, if Pearls have such devotions to their "master's" then why did Blue and Yellow Pearl jump ship so fast? I don't know if it was because it was a show and there was a lot more going on or it was super easy for beings literally meant to serve to leave their masters.

Fuck, this is depressisng and I mean that both ways.

"Please Pearl, I want you to show your opinion, I have an entire empire to serve me, and I want you to be my friend." Is this cringe or is it sad I have to say this?

"Yes...my Diamond, I will try to improve from now on." Honestly, you're doing like 5% better than before, so good for you!

"Now then, let's set up the bases in the four continents and attack them simultaneously, then we'll attack the central continent. "

"Yes my Diamond, as you wish." Pearl bowed and walked away, however before she left I said one last thing.

"Pearl, work with Eda to commence Operation: Remnant after." This got Pearl's attention as she turned around immediately and looked at me with a curious look and I gave a look to confirm the order. She then bowed once again and spoke.

"Yes my Diamond."

"We will serve as you wish." A feminine robotic voice continued to finished her response.

So Avatar, but better.
