Party! Party! Party!(7)

Within the hallways of the Deus ex Machina zeppelin that was slowly burning and somewhat falling apart, Integra strode with purpose through the metal halls of the zeppelin with her sword was unsheathed and poised to kill as it glinted in the dim light of the yellow lights hanging overhead.

Seras was faithfully at her side when she used her dark matter tendrils to protect her master from the incoming bullets. After sufficient time, she jumps toward the number of Millennium soldiers proceeds to slaughter them with remarkable ease before noticing the shit-eating grin on their faces, even in their death.

"They're smiling?"

"They are smiling because they wanted the great death to take them away." Integra stated with a scowl on her face.

"If they wanted it so damn badly then they could have done it fifty years ago or better yet not turn into vampires at all."

At that moment, the speakers of the zeppelin turned on and the Major's voice could be heard through it.

[You make it sound so simple. But you see, mere death means absolutely nothing to us. We are relics of a bygone age and meant to be forgotten. But none of us want us to just "simply" see death or want our existence to simply stop like a watch no one bothers to wind up. For our demise to genuinely signify something greater, it must be a battle that shakes the very timbers of Valhalla and nothing less. That is why we have come here in search of death... in a worthy fight.]

Seras and Integra gazed down the dark hallways and noticed at the end was the Captain standing there, his blood-red eyes fixed on them.

[The world is a vast place, filled with violence and bloodshed. A true warrior requires a worthy opponent even if it takes them half a century. For death to mean something it needs to represent something that the world has never seen before. Otherwise we are forced to roam the world endlessly. This is our last chance and you two of the Hellsing organization are Wunderbar. You two bring us something precious. Victory or death. Which one? I do not know. But it will be great.]

And like that, the speakers shut off.

"Master Integra, go on ahead." Seras said as she stepped forward.

"Seras…"

"Go! And take that man down! Every word he speaks is like poison in my head and if he keeps on speaking I might go mad." Seras stated, her teeth grinding and her eyes blazed in crimson red.

"...Alright, but don't you die. Otherwise I would not forgive you."

Then they noticed the Captain pointing to a sign which shows the direction of where the control room of the zeppelin is and where the Major is exactly.

"Such a good dog." Integra mocked as she headed for the Major while the Captain and Seras were locked in a staredown as the walls of the hallway they were in ignited on fire.

A stomp of her boots against the floor caused two MG-42s that were laying on the ground to bounce up, which Seras easily catches and fires at the Captain, who retaliates by firing at her with his dual Long-barrel Mausers in return.

Knowing this would just waste her time, Seras discards the MGs and charges forward. However, the Captain swiftly removes his coat and tosses it to Seras, who gets tangled in it and sends her to the floor.

Shot after shot, the Captain continued shooting her with the Mausers until she used her dark matter tendril to slice the coat into pieces and freed herself. Enraged, Seras leaps out and lunges toward the captain, who hastily backflips away from her the moment she escapes.

Seras immediately launches her dark matter tendrils at the captain when a white mist erupts from his body, preventing the tendrils from hitting him as his body begins morphing into a giant wolf-like beast that towers over her.

In that form, the Captain swoops in to bite Seras like a beast. Seras parried one assault right away, but the captain unleashed another with a fortuitous blow of his paw, sending her crashing into a wall and causing her to cough up blood due to the amount of power behind the attack.

On all fours, the captain rushed towards her at fast speeds. As he approached, he morphed back into his human form and stomped on her hard enough to breach the floor, falling through multiple levels before landing in the cargo room filled with crates, barrels, weapons, and several WW2 vehicles.

When the Captain lands in the room uninjured, he finds the wounded Seras lying on the floor and begins approaching her.

"It's no use... he's too strong."

Then an all too familiar voice from deep within her soul speaks up.

[Laying down on the job? That isn't like you.]

"Bernadotte!?"

Indeed it was Pip Bernadotte, after all, not only did Seras absorb his blood, she stole his soul as well in the process. Thus, he is part of her now.

[Certainly. Now on your feet, young lady, even though you detest hearing me say that.]

At that very moment, the white aura began to surround the Captain, and like a ghost, he flew towards her and went for a flying kick but Seras sidestepped the blow and his kick struck a barrel instead which shattered and spilling a huge amount of money.

[Now since you're back on your feet let's show him what we are made of. Let's take him out together.]

A newfound sense of confidence in her causes Seras to launch herself against the Captain and deliver a flying kick, which he avoids by bending over. As Seras lands and skids through the floor behind the captain, she thrust her arm to the ground, sending her demonic tendrils which a multitude of them erupts from behind the Captain to impale his back.

"Gotcha!"

[No, I don't think so.]

True to Pip's words, the captain morphed back into his ghost form, freeing himself from the tendrils and flying around, destroying everything in the room before landing on top of one of the tendrils on the tip of his feet.

[This wolfman really is getting annoying, what we need is silver.]

Seras then noticed containers being opened as a result of the Captain's onslaught, and gold, money, and several pieces of silver were spilling out of them. One of the pieces of silver was intentionally kicked by the captain in her direction, which she took hold of.

[What do you know, the war dog is giving us a chance to let him see the great death.]

"I see. He led us here on purpose."

Soon after, the Captain morphed into his ghost form again and lunged at Seras, who used her arms to parry his kick, but the force of the kick sent her flying and crashing into a wall.

"You dog!" Seras roared as she ripped the wall apart behind her and pulled out a huge bomb, which she tossed at the captain, who effortlessly kicked a barrel at the bomb and both objects exploded upon impact, sending fire over the room.

From the cloud of smoke came Seras from above and punched his right arm off, the captain followed Seras' example by punching her right arm off and the two traded blows before the Captain attempted to knee her, only for Seras to chomp down his leg with her vampire jaws.

"Now we got you."

A silver filling is tosses in the air, and lands on the hands of Pip, who is now known as Seras' familiar in the same way as Baskerville was to Alucard, emerges from her shadow tendril in the next second and caught the piece of silver he was holding between his fingers.

"Here is the payback for what you all did in my country fifty-five years ago."

Pip was about to punch the piece of silver into his heart and kill the captain, when…

Boom!

After being neutral for long, the massive flying warship of the Reich overhead launched a powerful missile at the Deus ex machina zeppelin, causing a significant portion of it to explode, along the place where Seras and the captain engaged in combat. The explosion caused both monstrous opponents to fly backwards.

Seras and Pip moaned in agony as they crashed against a random vehicle. When Seras opened her eyes, her eyes caught the Captain flew out of the hole on the wall and fell into a dark aether portal that randomly appeared outside.

"Where do you think it takes him somewhere?" The female vampiress asked her familiar.

[I don't know, but it's still not over. Let's finish this fight with Millenium and the Major, and fight the apocalypse that the dark aether is going to bring.]

"I'm pretty sure Rodeo and Karl are handling it." Seras stated as she headed out of the room to catch up with her master Integra. There was silence in the room for a brief moment until it was interrupted by the sound of an opening of a dark aether portal and a group of seven Reich soldiers, two Manglers and a Dark Aether Tempest stepped out.

One of the Reich soldiers spoke, "No one here except for the bodies back there. Looks like they're dead. But the money and weaponry here could be worth it."

"We. Take. Weaponry." Said one of the Manglers.

"No. We. Take. Money." Said the second Mangler.

"Why not both?"

The Mangler glanced over at the second Mangler and asked, "Both?"

"Both."

They both nodded, "Both."

"Both. Is. Good." The second Mangler nodded his head at the Reich soldier.

"Good. We'll take all of it," The Reich soldier noticed an artillery cannon with a loaded shell inside, "Except for that. We won't need it, we already had like thousands of these anyway" he said, turning to face the Tempest and giving the command, "Do it."

The dark aether tempest nods and manipulates the portal they came to absorb everything in the room into it like a vacuum except for the artillery cannon before leaving.

"Well Walter, the cards you betted on are falling and crumbling as we speak. My master will deal with the Major and you know how fearsome she can be, but you, I'm going to tear you apart and if you think I will give you a fighting chance and get a fair fight after you've done, then think again. Besides, I need a drink."

Lifting his palm, the symbols on Alucard's white gloves glowed crimson red and all of the blood from the ones who had died in the city were being drawn towards him in a massive red ocean that flooded the streets and absorbed it. He didn't absorb the blood from dark aether zombies, though, since he is fully aware that their blood is corrupted with dark aether essence.

"This is insane." Alcina mumbled in complete awe upon laying her eyes on the scene before her. Watching the literal ocean of blood all flowing toward Alucard.

No, not toward Alucard. Into Alucard. The undead vampire maliciously laughed as he himself began to feel the overwhelming amount of blood entering his vampiric body. He could feel them all. The army of souls compacted in this blood, swarming in mindless chaos as they entered into his body.

"You know! This much blood is more than even I might be able to handle!"

"I gave up everything just to kill you! So just lie back… AND THINK OF HELL!"

Using whatever strength he still had left, Walter launched himself towards Alucard and delivered a powerful blow by splitting his head vertically in half. But the quantity of blood he was absorbing from the deceased people in the city made him simply repair himself... it was futile.

Alucard flashed a devious smile, "Traitor. Regardless of how frequently you do it, I'm safe from your deadly grasp. In the end, even Anderson couldn't kill me, so what's the point if you couldn't as well? You have no chance. You could face me every day for a thousand years and I would tear you apart each time, Walter."

——————————————————————

Finally reaching the main hall now, Integra put aside her sadness on Walter's betrayal and replaced it with fury. Before long, she stormed to the center of the room where the Nazi symbol blazed on the floor in sickening crimson paint. The Major whose name she didn't care to know sat casually with an evil smile on his face in a somewhat elevated chair at the far-end of the yellow-lit room.

"Welcome Fraulein! How wonderful for you to join us! If I knew you were coming earlier I would have made some popcorn for the show!"

Without pausing to consider his words nor hesitation in her action, Integra raised her revolver and shot the glass to immediately kill him but the glass was a strong one and would not shatter easily.

"I don't think the gun will do anything. Perhaps I should have informed you about the glass before you arrived here."

Then Integra unsheathed her sword and struck the glass with it, only for the blade of her sword snapped in two.

"If the gun won't work, do you really think a sword will? But I had to add this as a little feature so that we together can see the main event because this is one night show that we can't miss and I have the best seat in the house."

Integra snarled at him, "Coward!"

The fat man just chuckled and pressed a button on a panel which caused the walls to turn into one giant movie screen. Walter and Alucard battled it out in pixel forms upon the monstrosity. The butler hooked his wires around the vampire's ankle and dragged him against the side of a building. Integra resisted the urge to wince, even Alucard felt pain. Then, it plays live footage where Alucard laughs hysterically while absorbing blood in the middle of raining zombies from the purple sky.

"Alucard..."

"In this show the tragic hero Alucard will cease to exist when the curtain falls. Let's hope nobody would spite his drink."

Integra's eyes narrowed, "What the hell are you talking about?"

A wicked smile formed on the Major's face as he simply answered.

"You'll see."

——————————————————————

Schrodinger was standing on the roof of a building with the streets beneath him being covered in the red ocean that was flooding said street. He drew out a dagger when he heard a certain mechanical voice speaking to him.

"There you are, traitor."

"Oh please, we did what we did, and besides this is the final act unless you strike me down and avenge your men."

"And how killing a mere half-breed animal like you could avenge my fallen brothers?"

"Because if you do, Alucard will be finished for good and I know your general wants to avenge her soldiers who died by his hands, and at the same time, the Major gets his victory. My power will make it a win-win situation for both of us."

"How?"

With a sinister grin, Schrodinger went close to him and whispered to him what his powers were. The moment he learned of this, Fritz, without a moment of hesitation, grabbed Schrodinger by the collar and decapitate his head with his bare band within a split second as both head and headless body of the cat boy fell in the ocean of blood, where there were absorbed by Alucard without his knowledge since he was too busy absorbing the blood and laughing uncontrollably.

"Auf Wiedersehen, treacherous one. May your death be the vampire's fall."

——————————————————————

"Do you know about Schrodinger?"

"Yes. I just shot him."

"Yes, but yet he lives and yet he dies and as you know he already let himself be absorbed by Alucard. Schrodinger is a quantum paradoxical cat who is everywhere and nowhere and so long as he can recognize himself he cannot be killed, but should he not recognize and aware of himself like say being in blood that contains millions of souls that Alucard is taking right now he can't be able to recognize himself anymore. So what happens? Alucard will be nowhere and everywhere. Neither dead nor alive. He's now..."

"..."

In silence, not only Alucard was back in his restraint level one form, but he was slowly fading out of existence with the eyes in his shadow essence and body had started closing as a result of Schrodinger's quantum powers affecting him while being on his knees. As this was happening he had the vision of past places where he almost met death and seeing the sun rising in the horizon.

"That morning... The sky was just like this. Everytime time I die, this is the vision that greets my eyes and everytime I think about how lovely that sunlight is... which I forsook so many centuries ago."

The vision came to an end as his body was beginning to fade away. He soon notices Alcina running towards him and knelt down in front of him.

"What's happening to you?!"

"My end is near, Alcina. This is the final curtain for me. I'm fading away."

"No! No! No! You can't leave your master and student! You can't leave me! You can't leave us! Please… *sobs* Please no."

Tears stream down her cheeks as Alucard gently holds her face and stares at her with a warm smile.

"You my lady were the kindest to me like the boy even though you were a monster and in these days of you being here, I couldn't help but feel for you. You understood me and were respectful in those days and I'm thankful for that. I might have lost everything in the past but you will not be gone from this world even when I'm gone. I know very well you will get your redemption the boy wants to give you. I know fate will and you are beautiful even if the cadou changed you into what you are. You're not a monster in my eyes. You are a monster with the emotions of a human… like me. Keep the gift that I gave you to you by heart."

"…And I love you, Alcina Dimitrescu."

"I love you too… *sobs* Alucard."

In their final moments, both pushed themselves for a passionate kiss on the lips, Alucard's last act in reality itself. Moments have passed yet felt eternity for the two vampires. And soon, the two separated from the kiss and exchanged looks with love in their eyes.

"Farewell to you, Alcina," Alucard whispered as he closed his eyes, ready to accept his fate, "And you as well my master Integra."

At last, he fades from existence and Alcina no longer feels his touch. With pure anger within her veins, she punched the ground with such force that it cracked as she let out a painful and sorrowful cry from the heartbreak of feeling for Alucard, the one she truly loved was now gone in front of her.

The only thing left was a red collar that Walter picked up and one of the symbols which had been on Alucard's gloves being inscribed on a cubical rock.

"He's dead," Walter muttered, laughing languidly, "He's finally dead and I still stand," Although, he should have been delighted by this, yet he grits his teeth in resentment, "That's what I wanted. Alucard being bested... Then why does it feel wro-?!"

Bam!

At that moment, a hole punched through his abdomen, sending him flying to a fragment of broken rubble. Walter, who was bleeding heavily and coughing out a considerable amount of blood, gazed upwards to see Alcina, who was filled with sadness and rage as she approached him menacingly.

"Integra, Seras, Alucard, Rodeo and the rest trusted you! I thought I could too! Then why in the bloody hell did you think it was a good idea to work with the Major?!"

"I just wanted... an opportunity to beat Alucard, I couldn't do it during my time serving hellsing because I was past my prime and now... I blew it. The Major took the victory I needed to move forward. That's all I ever wanted. A proper duel with the No-life king because without it, I'm nothing. So if you want to kill me then try it. It won't bring him back, and I know Rodeo wouldn't want you to do this."

Alcina now stood before Walter, regarded him, and pondered for a short while. She would truly gain nothing from this. If anything, she would only end up being the same old merciless Alcina she was back in the village. Grunting in anger, Alcina sits next to the bleeding Walter and continues sobbing.

"I do need your help though," Walter started to speak in a weak voice, "There is a man in the zeppelin I need to take out. If he walks away, his research on artificial vampires will never end. Take me to his lab and put a curtain to Millenium, and besides my time is up."

Alcina glared at Walter and sighed, deciding to follow his advice and pick him up before heading for the zeppelin by flying into the air. It wasn't her intention to help him but Alcina knew that if this person were to continue the artificial vampire research, a repeat of London may happen someplace else and unleashing vengeance on Walter wasn't worth it.

As soon as they left the scene, a dark aether portal opened beneath the ground where Alucard's Casull pistol lay and the silver gun soon fell into it before the portal closed and never opened again.
