Metal as Hell(3)

Grabbing an Imp by the throat, Rodeo turns it into a bomb and throws him towards an Arachnotron before yelling.

"SWITCH ON!"

Bringing his right thumb down, the Imp explodes on the Arachnotrons face, killing it instantly and reducing it to atoms. Noticing a Dread Knight running towards him with rage in his veins, Rodeo runs towards him as well. 

The Dread Knight slashed down at a spinning fashion but Rodeo slid underneath the attack and took out a combat knife and slit his throat before taking out a Shak-12 assault rifle and unloading every 12.7×55mm STs-130 bullets into its throat until the magazine went empty. 

The Dread Knight fell to its knees and fell on the ground dead. A Hell Soldier who was a few meters away from Rodeo had his blaster gun pointed at him but suddenly, Spy appeared out of nowhere and leaned into the demon's ear and whispered.

"Peek a boo."

Before the Hell Soldier could move, Spy stabbed him in the back of the head with his knife and it went limp. Once he slain the demon, Spy spotted an Arachnotron heading towards him but a fire spear flies past Spy's head and hits the Arachnotron dead center in the face, the spear explodes, killing it instantly.

Turning around, Spy saw it was Green with Cerberus beside him. 

"I had the bug, mon ami."

"What? No thank you?"

"I have a better thank you for you." Spy said, giving Green the finger, "Go fuck yourself."

But then, five Imps appeared behind Green and lunged towards him, however, Cerberus quickly made a broadsword made out of cold ice, he turned around and swung the sword vertically and all five Imps got cut in half by the sword as their bodies fell on the ground dead. 

"Well?" Green stares at Spy who give him a deadpan look 

"Show off."

"Enemy air support incoming!" Michelle yelled out to everyone.

The team looked up and saw dozens of blood Maykrs flying towards them with their spears ready. The Blood Maykrs started firing yellow plasma shots from the tip of their spears. The team moved left and right and took cover except for Evan, Carlos and Nikolai as they stood in the open.

"ZA WARUDO!"

In the next instant, time around him came to a halt and the world around him became monochrome. Floating in the air, Evan brought out fifty knives and threw them all with all his might at the Blood Maykrs, the knives freezing in mid air due to the time stop. 

"HOW BOUT A LITTLE MORE?!" 

Bringing out fifty more knives, he throws them all at the Maykrs and they freeze in mid air.

Looking at all of the knives he threw, Evan nutters, "Time shall continue once again."

As time started to move once again, a storm of wives were shot at the blood Maykrs, hundreds of them moving at the speed invisible to the naked eye, hitting the flying demon's heads and their entire body. 

In the meantime, Carlos fired six icicles from his hands towards them, blowing the demons up to pieces. 

In the distance, Nickolai looked forward and saw four blood Maykrs ready to throw their spears at him but before they do it, he swinged his hand downward, causing the space to be distorted and the Blood Maykrs get pulled towards him which he swinged again, cutting all four of them in half by scraping their abdomens from existence. 

Jeff, Finn and Michelle were meanwhile busy dealing with Hell Soldiers and Imps who were attacking them. Finn sides steps to right and dodges a slash attack from an Imp, in retaliation, he smashed its head between his fists, killing it before noticing three Hell Soldiers were hidden behind a car, he runs towards the vehicle and jumps over it and in slow motion sequence, he gunpoints his index finger and fires a bubble from him at the three demons. The bubbles, moving at bullet speed, pierced through each of their heads one by one.

As the slow motion sequence ends, Finn lands on his feet and looks behind him to see the three Hell Soldiers drop dead on the ground. 

"Looks like they'll have to glue your brain cells back together... IN HELL!"

Punching one Hell Soldier in the head, it creates a zipper on its head, and immediately, Jeff cuts its head in half with the zipper, killing the Hell Soldier. Jeff looks at an Arachnotron as it starts to blast him with its laser cannon but Jeff quickly makes a zipper on the ground and goes into it avoiding the shots. 

A zipper suddenly opens underneath the ground on which the Arachnotron was standing, Jeff jumps out of the zipper and unleashes a barrage of punches under the arachnotron.

"ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARI! ARIIIII!"

Creating numerous zippers all around the Arachnotron's body, it cuts him into pieces with the zippers, killing him. Staring at the dead Arachnotron for a brief moment, Jeff noticed a Dread Knight leap towards him but Michelle appeared and quickly kicked the Dread Knight off the air and sent it into a car. 

The Dread Knight got up and in a state of rage, it charged towards Michelle. The Dread Knight slashed down with his blasma blade but Michelle side stepped to the right and did a fast jab on its face and uppercuts him, but it didn't stun him at all.

The Dread Knight was about to unleash its wrath upon Michelle, but before that, he was then met with a storm of bullets by Michelle's LWRC M6 assault rifle, but the Dread Knight used his energy blades to slashed all the incoming bullets at extremely fast speed.

Finding an opportunity, Michelle throws a frag grenade next to his feet, the grenade explodes which stuns and damages the demon. Seeing that he was in a daze, Michelle quickly took out a combat knife and ran towards him before stabbing him in the chin with all her might. Twisting and turns the knife, Michelle used all her strength which proven futile as the Dread Knight still lives, and so for her last attempt, she brings out a Glock pistol, violently pulled the knife out of its chin and shoots its stab wound located on its chin multiple times until she ran out of bullets. 

This was enough to kill the Dread Knight as it collapses on the ground dead. 

(Heavy Metal Music Pauses) 

"Alright team. Gather up."

Once Rodeo called out the group, Queen's Requiem, Finn and Nikolai gathered around him. They then saw Robert and McQueen in bipedal form approaching them. The two saw that they had already dealt with the enemies here. 

"Well your back. What happened to the civilians?" Finn asked the two.

Robert replied, "We saw some Foundation soldiers standing at the exits of the city and they jot them out safely. They told us to follow them but..."

"We declined since you guys are still here and there might be more people trapped in the city." McQueen finished his words.

All of a sudden, they heard a loud roar. No doubt it was from the Hell Barge. Then, they heard an ear-piercing noise, they looked up and saw a squadron of F-22 Fighter Jets flying above the city moving faster than the speed of sound, launching out missiles into the Hell Barge in the far distance, exploding around its body which it didn't flinch.

As they watched as the battle unfolds, the team's helmet radio came crackling to life, and an all too familiar voice sounded.

[Rodeo?]

"Yeah it's me, Amelia."

[Alright. Now listen, "Hammer Down" has the city completely on lockdown and "Jäeger Bombers" have begun bombing more aggressively at the massive entity, which Carson told me is a Hell Barge.]

"We get that part." Evan said.

[Alright then back to the point. I got orders from the higher ups that you turn on your camera helms so that we can see what's going on and keep the audio on as well. We also were able to pinpoint the location from where these things are coming from.]

"Where is it?"

[About four clicks north of the city and... we noticed a tremendous amount of Hell's Forces swarming that area. Your helmet will update itself and give you a map of the city.] Amelia said and Rodeo nodded, but before he could order anyone, she added, [One more thing, get some blood samples from the creatures as well. Good luck, Queen's Requiem.]

Once the radio call ends, a small holo screen appears on their armors wrist gloves and giving them a detailed 3D map of the city, the team also turned on their helmets like what Amelia had said. 

Looking at everyone, Rodeo began to order, "Ok team, you heard what Amelia sayed. We're heading north." He then looks at Jacob and orders, "Jacob, collect some blood samples from the dead bowies here before they fade to ash." Lastly he looked at Finn and asked, "I'm pretty sure you and your friends want to join us in our mission?"

"Aye, lad. We ain't leaving until we stop them, given they have a Hell Barge on their side and god knows what else, so we can't let them succeed."

"Alright then. Team, let's move out." Rodeo ordered the team and as he was about to take a step forward, he stopped himself and looked at Evan behind him, "Also Evan don't try to fly now." 

"And why shouldn't I? Wouldn't it be good in a strategic way?"

"One, fighter jets are in the sky. Two, we can't risk one of the Hell Forces spotting you and giving away our location. Three, we need to stick together for now. Four, even with Time Stop on your side, we still might get spotted."

"Got it man." Evan nodded, giving his friend or leader a thumbs up.

Finishing collecting the blood samples using vials, Jacob keeps them in the mechanical compartment on the armored shoulder pad of his armor. 

"Got the samples, mate."

"Ok, we're done then. Let's move out!"

Following his lead, the team started to move north. But then, Green stopped for a moment because Cerberus' ears picked something up, they both looked up at one of the buildings but spotted nothing.

"Agent Green. Move." Spy called Green out, noticing that he stood there for some reason.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming."

"War."

Following the team, Green just forgot that feeling of something was watching him, thinking there is no one... 

However, there was someone on one of the roofs of the buildings, looking at the team leaving.

A Prowler.

"Got to report this to the general. They might be a problem." The Prowler suddenly spoke in a perfect human language.

As it stares at the group leaving in the far distance, the Prowler teleports away from the spot.

In the control room, Amelia was sitting on a chair in front of a monitor, looking at the screen which was showing footage of what Queen's Requiem was showing from their helmet camera. Meanwhile, Iris, Molly and Abel are standing behind her. 

"Are you sure you don't want to send me and Abel to the city? We can help." Iris requested.

Amelia denies her request, "Look Iris, the Foundation hasn't given any direct orders to send both of you to Vegas and this is a good proving moment for Queen's Requiem to show that they can be of help against the biggest of threats."

Iris sighed, "Ok."

Looking at Abel, Amelia hesitated for a moment before asking, "...Able. You don't seem to be arguing about this. Why?"

"As much as I want to be on that battlefield right now, I want to see what this Queen's Requiem is capable of."

"I never thought of you as the observant type." Molly said in front of him.

"As a warrior, I want to know how my opponents fight, how they do things, how they react to a situation and it will help me understand them a bit more and perhaps I might feel impressed by them. Just like how you impressed me with your powers when we met the first time." He said, referring to Iris by his side.

"Yeah good times." Iris smiled, remembering the days back until she asked, "So where's Sgt. Johnson?" 

"He went to England to investigate some deaths in Unlondon with Lawrence and Sophia." Molly answered her question.

"Do they know about the whole Vegas incident?" 

"All foundation sites were warned about this incident so no doubt the news has reached them as well."

Suddenly, they notice the doors of the control room open again, turning out to be Carson and Simmons holding a cup of coffee in their hands. 

"Yo! So anything new?" Carson, the man with the autotune voice asked.

Amelia explained, "Queen's Requiem is heading to the source as we speak and "Hammer Down" & "Jäeger Bombers" are keeping the Hell's Forces at bay. Other than those things nothing else is new."

"I see. You know, I've read the Doom lore and since Davoth is dead, I'm just wondering who might be leading the Hell's army?"

"...You're saying that the Hell Dimension's army used to have a leader?" 

"Yeah. They wouldn't attack without having someone leading them in a way or they would just mindlessly attack anyone or anything on sight."

"Well he is kind of right on that part, Dr. Buck." Simmons said to her.

"Hmm..." Thinking the words from what Carson explained, Amelia said, "If you're right, then Queen's Requiem needs to be careful out there against whoever is leading this invasion."

– Underneath the City of Las Vegas - 6:29 AM –

The Prowler, the same one as before, was walking down a tunnel of the sewer system, it then stopped itself because in front of him was an Archvile, the same one that Finn and Nickolai first encountered.

"What do you want?" The Archvile also spoke in a human language, asking what the Prowler is here for.

"I need to meet the General. We have problems from a group... which are not humans." 

"...Fine. Follow me."

The Prowler follows the Archvile, leading him into the cavern where the massive doors were and with the crimson light wormhole still active, bringing more forces from the hell dimension in each second. 

Looking above, the Prowler saw a massive hole had been made in the ceiling. No doubt from the Hell Barge. Looking ahead, the Prowler saw a large humanoid in the corner, it was none other than the General. 

Turning around, the General looks at the prowler indifferently. The Prowler could only see his silhouette and the General's helmet visor, and behind that visor is a pair of eyes, intensely glowing in crimson red light.

"What do you wish to report to me?" He spoke out in a dark and ominous voice.

"Well you see, a group of bizarre individuals have entered the city and are heading here. They were able to deal with most of our forces with ease and with good precision as well rather than the rage and beastly-like approach of the Doomslayer."

"Is that so?" 

"Yes."

"Are they human?"

"Only one looked human, the rest looked totally different but they have a set of very unique abilities that can be troublesome to us."

"Hmm... alright, send one of our forces after these so-called bizarre individuals and tear them apart."

The Prowler nods and teleports away. 

"Why haven't we moved out of the city and expanded our attack, General?" The Archvile asked.

"The only reason we haven't moved out of the city with the Hell Barge is because this argent crystal that is on the pedestal is the only thing keeping the portal active and moving out of the city with our toughest members especially with the Hell Barge will leave the crystal vulnerable and if it closes, we can't bring more of our forces and leave as well since this is the only portal in the multiverse that can allow us to cross only a single dimension and that being this dimension that we are at right now, and Davoth's ally made these doors and the portal specifically for us to invade only this world."

He continued, "So for now, we need to be on the defensive and keep ourselves in the city. I also already sent someone far from the city through the tunnels to meet up with the ones who activated the portal in the first place, in case things go south here."

"I see. I'll be heading out then." The Archvile bowed before leaving the cavern. 

Watching as the Archvile left from his sight, the General began to think of something.

'If I read the codex tablets right, Davoths ally had childrens and a faction as well, if we get to this faction, find his childrens and use them to free Davoth's ally. With his ally's help, we will be able to invade all types of dimensions across the multiverse once again. The day is still long and we have enough time in our hands. Just hope these individuals aren't too much of a problem.'
