BRIANNA'S P. O V

"She is my daughter" the man shouted

I stepped back. Antonella held me.

"What did you just say" Daniel asked

"Didn't you hear me? I said she is my daughter" the man shouted again

I gathered some courage. I went closer to Daniel and him. Daniel's men pulled back. I stared at him closely.

"My baby girl you are so beautiful" he said

"Brianna are you alright" Daniel asked

I nodded

"Daniel please let's go. I don't want a scene to be caused here" I said

"Alright dear I will take you home" Daniel said

"My dear please listen to me" the man said

I ignored him and left with Daniel.

"Daniel please take me to Mr Craine" I said

"Don't you wish to talk to your mother" Daniel asked

"Not yet. I just want to be with Mr Craine now" I said

He nodded

Our drive lasted for an hour because Mr Craine wasn't in the city. We arrived at the outskirt of the city. Mr Craine was standing outside his building. I quickly run and hugged him. I started crying

"Hey relax" he said

He kissed my forehead.

"Daddy a man is claiming to be my father" I said

"Come with me sweetheart" Mr Craine said

We entered the house. He made me sit down.

Daniel poured a glass of water for me. I took it and drank it

"Daddy I want to sleep" I said

"Baby are you sure why don't we talk about this first" he said

"Not now daddy" I replied

He nodded

He took me upstairs and I slept in his arms.

I woke up and realised I was alone. I went downstairs and saw Daddy in the kitchen. I kissed his back and hugged him tightly.

"Did you get a proper rest" he asked

"Yes Daddy but I can't get what happened this morning out of my mind" I said

He made me sit down

"Bri I have to tell you something" he said

"Daddy what" I asked

"Bri Daniel and I already knew that your father was alive we just couldn't tell you because it wasn't in our place to tell you" he said

I sat down quietly.

"I'm sorry baby" he said

After thinking for a while I hugged him

"It's alright Daddy" I said

He served me food and fed me as well. We went back to the city after a while.

The next morning, I told Mr Craine to call Daniel and my mum. I wanted to talk to them. They arrived in an hour.

"Hi baby" my mum said

I hugged her

"Anna I am sorry for everything" she said

"Mum don't be. I know you will never do anything to hurt me" I said

"Anna please let's talk about your father" she said

I looked at Mr Craine's face and he nodded

"Let's all sit down and talk" I said

Daniel tried leaving but I stopped him

"Daniel when I said all, I meant you too" I said

He nodded and sat.

"Anna do you remember when you were a kid, you will always ask about my family (I nodded) I never said anything because I am an orphan. I was raised in an orphanage. When I got to the age where nobody will adopt me I was asked to leave the orphanage so I did. I started doing minor jobs to get money. I was able to get a job at a restaurant. I became a waitress and that was when I met your father. He was really nice to me. He always gave me huge tips. One day he came up to me from the back and touched me inappropriately but I didn't say anything because I liked him. I rented a small place near the restaurant and he started visiting me. He will take me out, go shopping with me and other things. One night after having dinner with me, he took me to his apartment and I had my first sexual experience with him. We kept doing it till one day he got a phone call and left without saying anything. After that I hardly saw him. He stopped visiting. Soon I realised I was pregnant. I visited his apartment and told him but he threw me out saying he was not responsible for it. (I gasped) My friends advised me to abort it but I didn't want to (tears started flowing from my eyes). I asked around and found his work place. I visited there. I met him and he threatened me never to meet him again. Months later, I heard that he married someone else. I never saw him again because I resigned and moved out of the town" she said

I couldn't control my tears. I cried loudly

Mr Craine to pacify me.

"Mum I am so sorry because of me you went through a lot" I said

"Baby don't be sorry. You are my miracle. Thanks to you I met the love of my life" she said

"She is right" Daniel said

We all laughed. I took a toss pillow and threw it at him. He caught it like a pro. I laughed

"Anna what do you want to do" mum asked

I thought for a while

"I know every child needs his or her father in his or her life but I don't need him. I have the three of you and you are all I need" I said

My mum kissed my forehead

"Why is he back suddenly" Mr Craine said

We all stared at him. Something crossed my mind

"Daniel please investigate him. I don't know if he coming in to our lives while we prepare for mum and your wedding is intentional or coincidence" I said

"Wow you are really becoming smart" mum said

"Mum I have been sleeping with the most intelligent man in the world of course I will be smart" I said

"Huh" mum gasped

I realised what I said. I stuck my tongue out

"Foolish girl" she said

We all laughed

"I will try and find some information about him" Daniel said

"Alright then let's get back to wedding preparations. I can't wait for the D-Day" I said

Daniel and Mr Craine prepared lunch and we ate happily. My mum and Daniel left after a while.

Mum and I met with the wedding planners in a restaurant and discussed about the wedding. An hour later, The meeting got over and we left. We were leaving when someone called my mum by her first name. We turned and it was my so called father.

"How are you Nicholas" Mum asked

"I'm fine dear. You really look good. It been twenty seven years. How are you" he said

I texted Daniel and told him what was happening.

"As you can see I am fine" mum said

"Why are you stalking us" I said angrily

"My dear I want to talk to you" he said

"I don't want to. Go away before my father come here" I said angrily

"I am your father" he shouted

"You don't deserve that. Mum let's go" I said

I took my mum's hand and pulled her towards the car. We left him standing there.
