8 Chapter 06

Aerial POV

A breezy wind blew building up a currents of dust to sail along in loops. Warm rays of sunlight shot brushing up my skin forming a bit sweat drip. I gulped a mouthful of air, the stench odor ran through my nostrils dashing it's foul sent through my lungs, I chocked exhaling the venomous dirty air. "Oh! this is going to be fun!" Laen mocked diverting my attention to him. Our eyes locked, a teasing glint radiated dancing upon his.

The Queen had suggested that I should take part in the circle. The circle is in where the royals assemble in one place to engage in practicing for battles and enemy attacks. The battle is often played to find the strongest knight among the royals.

"Yeah! Can't wait to see you loose." I mimicked, I swung my fist aiming his jaw but he jerked his head back triumphantly smirking,

" Nice one there kid." he complimented while I shot him a look of annoyance. Unexpectedly he grabbed me by the shoulder and slammed me on to the caged wall, a loud crack echoed as I twisted his hand pushing him away from me. The crowd cheered like maniacs disturbing the calm atmosphere.

"The dream, tell me about it" he commanded swaying his hand as if his bone never cracked. I pounced on him before whispering the answer, but he grabbed me by the waist and slammed me on to the floor with him above me. The crowd fell silent as he store at me lust flaming his face.

" I have a sister" I whispered breaking up the awkward silence and mood. The bell dinged ringing and announcing that Laen had won since he had locked me for five-seconds.

"What!" he screamed attracting a few attention from the others.

"Be quite idiot! I had the same shocked state as you when mother told me." I answered nudging his elbow.

"We have to find her!" he commented running a hand through his messy hair. Oh! what would it feel to touch his hair.

Shivering feverishly, they crept up the stairs of the old bricked-walls in the castle . A slight-startling tingle tiptoed down her spine and she abruptly turned halfway up the flight of steps to conclude that a guard might have spotted them running away from the decrepit building. Gazing intently around the lobby, she wondered off that it must have been her fear taking control over her. Cautiously she continued up the rotting stairs with her friends ; Laen, Clair and Attar, following upon her lead. The back door came visible shining as if it was some weapon which could save them. She breathed a sigh of relief catching the attention of the guard who was probably retreating from the guard room. Her breath hitched as the guard trotted to the direction of the sound. Heat radiated as she felt a rush of fear wash over her. Laen clamped a hand over her silencing her loud inhaling. Her fear diffused through the air building up a thick layer of heat in the atmosphere, the guard sensed something fishy as he took tiny steps towards the criminals but he abruptly paused from the screaming of an old maid.

"Magnus!" she screamed but the guard seemed to give no attention towards the lady but he tries to pick up that something was definitely wrong. "MAGNUS!" the lady screamed but much louder this time, The lady's voice rang chiming and breaking apart his thoughts, "Stop dreaming and go guard the King's room!" she barked shaking her head and mumbling something 'of how the King should hire newer guards' under her breath. The guard rushed wasting no time and pushing away the feeling.

Aerial gulped in her sigh afraid that the maid would start to notice their presence. "That was so close!" Aerial declared taking off the invisible carpet off her once they made sure that no one was here.

"I was wondering if I should leave" a deep voice commented.

" You!! What are you doing here?" Laen screamed. " I did" was all Aerials answer while she apologized on Laen's behavior.
