 As soon as they finished eating, Louis picked Arianna up ready to leave, he stopped when he looked up ahead to see Alice kneeling close to the stairs. 

 "Mr. Louis, please forgive me."

Louis took Arianna carefully to the Sofa, He turned back to shoot Alice a dagger glare.

"What should I forgive you for?"

 Alice went quiet, she looked down and was fiddling with her fingers. She doesn't know how to explain her offence, especially with so many people around. Even her Arch Enemy, Arianna was there.

 "How is she to tell what she did?

"How did it get to this?

"What happened?" Mrs. Croft asked, seeing that Louis was getting irked by Alice's presence and pleas.
