The Demon king's true plan

The next morning after the Demon Lord attack, Itsuka walked to his school quietly. As he walked, he happened to stumble upon Itori, who was also heading to school. When Itsuka looked at her, Itori glared back at him in disgust. Suddenly, Kairo Otora showed up, and Itori's attention shifted to him. She happily ran to him and said, "Big brother, sorry for giving you trouble."

"No worries," Kairo replied.

Kairo then looked at Itsuka with a smug expression. He grabbed Itori's hand and walked with her as she blushed and smiled at him. But unlike what Kairo expected, Itsuka didn't show any reaction or expression towards him. Kairo could sense that Itsuka held no vengeance, anger, or sadness, making Kairo feel intimidated.

*I see,* Itsuka thought. *To be honest, I can't express any emotions about what's going on right now. The sadness and anger that I should feel just isn't there. But the truth is, Kairo is one of the people who betrayed the three of us. And now he's also taking something that should be mine. So, I probably should bestow him suffering as punishment.*

About an hour later, Itsuka was inside his classroom. He looked at Kaname beside him and tried to talk to her as the teacher taught.

"Hey, do you happen to be a student who died and got reincarnated?" Itsuka asked.

"And why would I answer that? Can't you see that my last name holds the family name of the royal family? That means I was born here in this world, not summoned," Kaname replied.

"I see. Anyways, aren't we reincarnations supposed to be grinding the Atoma Labyrinth and not be at this academy?" Itsuka asked.

"Did you hit your head on something? After an incident where three reincarnated students died at the labyrinth, they abandoned the idea of making all the students grind at the Atoma Labyrinth and instead made them go back to school. The strongest students will become candidates to be the next hero," Kaname explained.

"And what are the names of these students who died?" Itsuka asked.

"The students who knew about the three students were silent. This is because the chances of this rumor spreading would make the royal family's reputation go down," Kaname replied.

"I see," Itsuka said.

"What a bother," Kaname muttered.

*Is that really the case? The reason why barely anyone knows me? No, that's wrong. Itori herself forgot about me, and probably the reason for this is that the princess herself has a special ability that she is hiding,* Itsuka thought.

Two boys then entered their classroom late, slamming the door open, drawing all the students' attention.

When lunch break occurred, Itsuka walked to the school library and saw Sharlily reading a book. Lea Sharlily's instincts went up, and she immediately looked at Itsuka. As the two looked at each other, Itsuka realized that Sharlily herself had also forgotten about him. He walked away with a book, feeling the weight of isolation.

As Itsuka walked down the school hallway, he was confronted by none other than Kairo himself.

"Well, isn't this just an unexpected situation you've gotten into, am I right?" Kairo said with a sneer.

"Is this all your doing?" Itsuka asked, his voice calm.

"Of course not. To be completely honest with you, this isn't all my doing, but it is my idea," Kairo admitted.

"Really? Then who's in control or rather the 'mastermind' behind all this?" Itsuka inquired.

"Of course, I won't tell you, but I'll let you take a guess. See, I'm not that horrible," Kairo taunted.

"It's the princess herself, isn't it?" Itsuka said, his voice steady.

Kairo was shocked, his eyes turning cold and predatory. He flicked his tongue in annoyance. "Tsk, you know this much already. Exactly who are you? The moment I friended you back in junior high, I saw through you but just couldn't fully understand your true potential and intentions. But now I can fully understand. You're a person who lacks empathy towards others. I can guess this goes between us and our friends, am I right? I admire people who could have turned cold after everything they've been through but still choose to try and understand others anyway and continue to search for a way to heal themselves, even though they don't even know where to start."

"Are you referring to me as a sociopath?" Itsuka asked.

"Did I stutter?" Kairo replied sharply.

"I admire your assumption towards me, but that is certainly not the case," Itsuka said calmly.

"Why don't you see others as just tools, or have you become your own tool?" Kairo asked.

"Stop answering questions with questions. I can truly say that I'm not a sociopath," Itsuka replied firmly.

"You little liar, you piece of shit...!" Kairo spat out, his voice trembling with rage.

Itsuka stayed silent, refusing to answer back and changing the subject instead. "Anyways, why are you doing all of this?"

"Well, isn't it obvious? I want your fucking sister," Kairo said bluntly.

"What?" Itsuka was taken aback.

"Your sister. Oh gosh, I can't stop thinking about the amount of favors she will do for me, considering sexual stuff as well," Kairo continued, a twisted smile on his face.

"Bro, she's fourteen. We're literally seventeen years old," Itsuka replied, disgusted.

"Who cares? I'm not a lolicon, I'm a siscon," Kairo retorted.

"She's my sister, not yours," Itsuka said, his voice cold.

"Well, not anymore. To be honest, the name Itsuka Yagami is a name that this school doesn't remember, considering our old classmates back in Golden High School," Kairo said.

"I see. Anyways, don't you have a girlfriend or something?" Itsuka asked, trying to change the subject.

"That was a lie," Kairo admitted.

"Fuck you. And you call me a liar?" Itsuka shot back.

"Shut up! That was an excuse so I could spy on your sister," Kairo snapped.

"I see. Anyways, I'm leaving," Itsuka said, turning to walk away.

As Itsuka took his leave, Kairo spoke again. "I see you don't even care about your own sister anymore. Anyways, I can tell you've gotten stronger because you made it out of the labyrinth alive after our betrayal. Although that won't last long, because I'll make sure to make you suffer, you cold-hearted bastard. I'm gonna make sure to take away your sister's virginity right in front of you by force. Even though you've gotten stronger, I can still beat you. This is due to the fact that I can now grind the entire Atoma Labyrinth alone easily."

*What a moron,* Itsuka thought. *Does he really think I'm a sociopath? And another thing he said is that he's gonna make me suffer. I once said sadness is also anger that has nowhere to go unless you lead it yourself. And I'll never forget that.*

Itori Yagami was walking out of her classroom. As she entered the school cafeteria, it was filled with students eating, walking, talking, and more. She was greeted by two other girls, Chizume Finataly and Anme Mine.

Anme Mine was a royal family member and the identical twin of Patricia Mine. She had the same personality as her twin, always smiling no matter how ridiculous and dangerous the situation could be. She was a Class S student and a part of the student council, despite being in junior high and not part of the summoned students. Chizume Finataly, on the other hand, was the previous second-in-command under the first Dragon Lord, Izayu Itadawashi. It was said that the only reason she stayed was because she wanted to serve her new master, Itori Yagami, the one who helped her through her depression after losing her old master. Chizume was also a dragon race and a Class S student, along with her master. The three of them went their way, talking happily as they got their food. Suddenly, as Itori walked along with her allies, she bumped into someone, making her fall to the ground, spilling her food all over her clothes.

"What the hell? Watch where you're walking, dumbass," Itori snapped.

"Well, isn't this an inconvenient situation, Itori Yagami, the younger sister of the one and only Itsuka Yagami," the person said.

Itori looked up and saw that the one she had bumped into was none other than Izayu Itadawashi, with Ray Skyrish beside her and Patricia Mine on the other side. Izayu Itadawashi was the previous Dragon Lord and now a student at this school. It was said that the only reason she enrolled was to look down on the new generation after being sealed a thousand years ago. She was also part of the student council and was said to be the only student capable of defeating the entire country of Flare and stronger than the Demon King himself.

Ray Skyrish was the second arm of the Dragon Lord herself, a total beauty and a Class S student. She was a quiet and emotionless student, unique and unknown. Nobody knew a single thing about her life, and she was one of the highest chances to be the next Hero class.

Patricia Mine was a royal and a princess who could manipulate almost everyone. It was said that Patricia was a genius who did not wear a mask because she was confident no one would be able to overcome her intelligence, no matter who it was. She was said to have ruined hundreds of lives due to the fact that she thought people were just toys she could play with.

"What do you want, Izayu?" Itori snapped.

"Nothing really. So, is this name, Itsuka Yagami your older brother, familiar to you?" Izayu asked.

"Of course, although he's not my brother, he's the enemy of my brother," Itori replied coolly.

"I see. Then tell me your name?" Izayu continued.

"My name is Itori Otora. What do you care?" Itori retorted.

"I see. Let's go, girls," Izayu said, dismissing Itori.

As Izayu and her group left, Itori stood up and realized they had drawn a huge crowd due to their popularity. She sighed as she and her group took a seat.

"So, is she your enemy?" Anme Mine teased with a giggle.

"Probably. Hey, isn't that girl beside her your sister?" Itori asked, looking at Anme.

"Yes, but I'm afraid we're not that close. I hate to break it to you, but even though we're not that close, I'd still choose you second before her," Anme said.

"Is this supposed to be a sister bond?" Itori sighed.

"Of course. Although I do have something I'm chasing from you that I can choose first before my sisters," Anme said mysteriously.

"Is it my brother?" Itori asked, curious.

"Kinda. You'll understand soon enough because I just found out that he's a transferee at this school," Anme replied.

"I really want to be acknowledged by Master Izayu again," Chizume Finataly, another member of their group, said wistfully.

"Don't worry, I'll soon make sure she gets out from under the manipulation of Itsuka Yagami," Itori assured her.

*Itsuka...* Anme thought. *That's a name I haven't heard in a long time, because that name is one I will never forget.*

As Izayu's group took their seats in the cafeteria, Patricia asked, "So, Izayu, how did you know the name Itsuka Yagami?" She smiled slyly.

"Hmm, why do you ask?" Izayu responded.

"You see, the name Itsuka Yagami is unheard of," Patricia explained.

"What are you talking about?" Izayu asked, puzzled.

*sighs* "You see, that name is the name of the one who was betrayed in the labyrinth," Patricia said.

"You know about our incident. I was one of the victims," Ray Skyrish interjected.

"Yeah, Ray Skyrish is also a name that is now unheard of, am I right?" Izayu added.

"Well, yes, of course," Patricia confirmed.

"You knew about this, but you still let it happen!?" Ray exclaimed, her voice filled with frustration.

"Why not?" Patricia chuckled.

"I'm not mad. To be honest, the one who should be mad is Itsuka himself. This is because my memory is lost," Ray said, sighing.

"Do you both work for Itsuka?" Patricia asked.

"Nah, in short, he and Ray are my tools," Izayu replied dismissively.

*I do remember Itsuka saying to keep him unpopular, so what Izayu is doing right now is just right,* Ray thought to herself as she giggles a little.

"So, he is alive. I doubt he will be too kind towards me again after knowing all this because, at the end of the day, he's not someone who is strong and smart enough to overcome me," Patricia said, sipping her tea as she closed her eyes.

In the student council room, the student council president looked at Izayu's statistics. He realized that she alone could defeat the Demon King as long as she wanted to. And this was exactly the Demon King's reason for allying with the Flare country. Suddenly, the vice president entered the room, eyes wide with panic.

"President, the Demon King has attacked the school front and is now climbing his way to the top of this school!" Ashira Dracura exclaimed.

"What!? But doesn't he know that the Dragon Lord is here? Is he really this confident in destroying the school!?" Minato Hatiri, the president, responded in shock.

"I never said he's alone!" Ashira added.

The school wasn't easily destroyed due to the fact it held the resistance of the seven previous heroes. The student council president quickly went to the school's entrance and saw the Demon King himself along with the Seven Deadly Sins. The strongest students fought and tried to protect the school but couldn't even defeat one of them.

"Where is the Dragon Lord?" the Demon King demanded.

Izayu then showed up behind him and smashed his head on the ground, making the school floor crack even though it had the resistance of the seven heroes. The Demon King was then helped by the Demon Lords of Gluttony and Greed, as the rest of the Demon Lords fought off all the students who didn't run. Among those who stayed were Patricia Mine, Ray Skyrish, Minato Hatiri, Ashira Dracura, Kaname Mine, Tera Yosouke, Izrael Akatsuki, Zen Vitale, Mitai Kira, Sarit Lazaniya, Delta Primrose, Lea Sharlily, Angeline Camael, Itori Yagami/Otora, Anme Mine, Chizume Finataly, Kirito Kazuki, Harata Mizata, Aoki Natori, and more.

The students were then also helped by the teachers. The school chairman and the student council president then went their way to help Izayu Itadawashi defeat the Demon King. The entire royal officials then arrived as backup.

The Demon King struggled and summoned a portal from hell to the overworld. Izayu could not do the things she usually did due to the fact that she was the previous Demon Lord, but she did her best to put up a fair fight. The same went for the school chairman, who was awfully overpowered, just like the Demon King and the Dragon Lord.

"You're all foolish for fighting back. Did you all really think you could put up a fair fight against me?" the Demon King taunted.

"SHUT UP!!!" Izayu screamed.

The Demon King then grabbed Izayu's arm and broke it, making her scream in pain. This pushed Izayu's nerves to the edge. She transformed into her dragon form, breaking almost half of their classroom in the process. She then bit the Demon King and threw him out of the school. As the Demon King struggled to get out of her jaws, the Seven Deadly Sins immediately went to their king. They tried to help him but couldn't. Izayu easily beat all of them because of her transformation. The Dragon Lord then bit off the Demon King's head, killing him on the spot. The entire demon and other races stood still as they looked at the situation. The Demon King was killed by the Previous Dragon Lord and not by the hero. As the Demon King's army, along with the Seven Deadly Sins, retreated, the entire students, teachers, and officials cheered for Izayu as she turned back to her human form. She then fell to the ground unconscious and was titled the new hero.
