Best story I've read on here, the biggest problem I had with it is the Harem. To each their own, but I rather enjoy it when they develop romance between two people rather than 41 different women. For a first chapter it was the most action packed, jaw dropping action filled chapter that I've seen. I've never seen someone put so much drama into a few pages!

If it ain't broken, don't try and fix it. The system of donations for translators has worked exceptionally well so far for almost all novel translation sites and I don't understand the why you think it needs to be changed. Not to mention we only have your word that the ad revenue generated by the ads for "bonus" chapters goes directly to the translators, and honestly, given your current reputation, I'm inclined to believe that very little of it actually does. Even so, this idea of 'bonus' chapters is ridiculous! These chapters are going to be published regardless and as far as I can tell there's no indication that the number of chapters being released is going to change in any way even with the implementation of this feature. It's like when companies raise the prices on their products right before a sale which lowers it down to it's original price, you're trying to get something for nothing here by misleading and exploiting consumers.

Someone please call Zang Ye to the comments, Qi needs his expertise. Seriously, do you guys not know shame? My God, I've seen people do self advertisement before but to be honest, this is way over the top and even I as the reader feel embarrassed, how could you not?

We all know its just for add revenue "bonus chapters" yeah okay you uploaded a few chapters extra today to most of your series but to the people that read daily all this does is permanently inconvenience them to make money which is about par to the course here. Yes we got what would of been a few days ahead of the pace but if they continue to read daily as they have they will need to watch an add every time they read a chapter which is just a tactic to have add revenue on all your chapters from now on to your loyal (if we can even say that word on this site without slapping ourselfs in the face) readers who read everyday here if they don't want to wait till the translations get past the few releases that have adds and indefinitely stay behind them. We all know eventually that you will stick all this behind a paywall (besides probably the first few chapters of each series to try to get people to pay for services) so i would really just rather you just make it all a paid service now instead of getting add revenue out of the people who will/won't pay for it before you do it instead of having adds lets be honest here the last thing anyone wants when reading is to be distracted while doing so especially by an add with sound so it would be better to just have the paid service structure or whatever the hell your going to call it instead of this stuff and i swear Qidian if when you do you still have adds like this on the site like a standard subscription service and a premium service to be add free i will no longer be having anything to do with you.

You should change the title to "A story of a thief".Then it will look honest. Or maybe "A tale of group of thieves" are much more appropriate.

I honestly don't feel this system is all that great, There should only be "bonus" chapters to read if the weekly chaps are already out, so we can watch an ad to read them early if we feel like it, ****** us watch an ad for every chapter (labelled "bonus" chapter) is fkin ridiculous. Also, i'd rather support translators directly instead of watching an ad which i dont know how much of goes to the translator and how much of the rest gets eaten up by qidian. Maybe you should like make us watch an ad every other chap or something instead of forcing us to in the name of "supporting the translator" this actually pisses me off. I think you guys should also implement a system where the translators can give us a message before releases, like ww

This has to be THE BEST novel on the site; it contains a masterful grasp on the English language, which for a rookie translator like Qidian International, is a wonder in this day and age. The world in this novel takes it to the next stage, it's almost as if I am *in* the world they're talking about, like the characters are in front of me as I read. The development is absolutely insane, every word brings a new wave of emotion across me, but the only downside I can give it is the lack of updates; I've heard in its native language this novel is at chapter 5? Do we here overseas not get to read the illustrious final chapter? Does one such as I have to learn Mandarin to comprehend the mysteries? If so, I am on a search fellow Daoists, a search of enlightenment in Mandarin. Have a good day, and I hope you too get to read this masterpiece.

Lol talk about having a thick face. Always thought why there were so many annoying pricks written in the novels, I guess I know now it must be because people like that exist in real life and Chinese author get to see them almost everyday

Do I really need to elaborate on my reasons for giving 1 stars? I do have to wonder what is going on here, was there a change in management? All of these recent actions like copying WW's novels, adding "bonus" chapters, and targeted review censorship.... All I have to say is qidian's face is indeed thick.

There is No story, charecter design, or world building. I was honestly expecting a book, not a Announcements page. I mean you could atleast like work it in as if Lady Qidian is being interviewed or something. Heck, you could put it as if she is writing a diary about her life and put the actual announcement in the translators not section or something. Be creative if you put it as a book.

I would have nothing against this, if the chapters which now require the watching of a video ad were actually bonus chapters, and not recently released chapters that have been retrofitted as "bonus" chapters. For example, i had been reading Gourmet of another world up to chapter 86 before your new video ad system. and somehow, the 2 latest chapters, which i have already read, are suddenly bonus chapters. This is not a watch ad and get extra chapter situation, it is a watch ad or we will limit your regular content situation. If you intend to make this system work, please post proper bonus chapters, and don't hold older chapters hostage for your own gains. And by this i don't mean limit the release rate for a few days to stockpile "bonus" chapters which you can later use as "bonus chapters". A true bonus chapter would be something extra, above the promised regular release schedule. And you say it is a way to support the translator by watching the ads? then why are you getting a share? If this was really about supporting the translator, shouldn't the translator get all the revenue? They are the ones doing the extra work to bring bonus chapters, not you. Then again, i do not know the contents of the contract the translator has signed with you, so i have no way of knowing the actual revenue sharing. Tldr: Bonus chapters are old chapters taken hostage. Supporting Translator is actually supporting Qidian.

First of all, there was not even a story in the first place! What character? What plot? For some reason, it just turns into a Q&A and ends it abruptly. I bet it was just taken off from some random site and translated into this ****.

There needs to be a limit to hypocrisy.... Publish a blog post explaining your situation... Don't actually mind reading it... But this? Seriously???

This update renders me unable to access the chapters. I have Adblock off, yet your plugin still insists for me to "check my adblock" and refuses to let me view the chapters. would not view ad again. 3/10.
