CHAPTER 9

Violet's POV:

I need to leave within 15 minutes.... I'm extremely nervous right now but, I need to remain calm.

Calm violet, calm you are the king you can do this.

He went to the enchantress today, I know she told him a lot but.. that is only half the story. That is nothing in front of the bigger part.... the more ferocious part. He needs to know it but it will unfold with time.

I hope he can take it.. and accept me after that.but we can only hope about that.

I looked at myself in the mirror. My hair were open, black Jean's and a black top with black boots. I took my phone which had a black cover with a crown with black diamonds made on it. Too much of the color black but I cant help it. The door opened and he was standing there with a smile, in a white shirt with folded arms and Jean's. It suited him. I was about to smile but then put my blank face on again.

"Are you that obsessed with the color black?" He asked

"That's my color... it has become my life besides I dont have any other color in my wardrobe." I replied.

" you are looking good anyway. But you know you could smile. No controlling that today."

" I'll try. So let's go."

I was about to open the car door but he did it for me before I could touch it. I sat inside with a nod.

"Have you ever driven a car violet?" He asked.

It was weird to hear him call me by my name, he was like a stranger for me as of yet but I'll get used to it.... it sounds good anyway...

"As a matter of fact, I have never driven."

"What?!" He looked at me with shock "but what if there is an emergency?"

"I do know how to drive a bike, I always have it with me wherever I travel."

" I have never seen it."

" one of my bodyguards is always on a bike. That is mine."

"Now that you mention, yes I have noticed."

"Where are we going by the way?"

"Surprise honey!" He said.. and that one word made me blush and I have no idea why. I think I'm sick... that's why I feel a bit warm.

"Well you are not planning to kill me right?"

"Hmm... that's a nice idea, no one would know the forest is just nearby." He laughed

"Ooooo I'm scared."

"Ok we have reached!" He said. We were in front of a small restaurant, we went inside. It was a small and comfortable place and had a homey and warm feeling.

"Nice place." I smiled

"You smiled! Oh my god I'm successful!"

"Ok drama queen. Let's sit somewhere."

there was a table right next to the window. Where we sat. We just stared at each other, no words were exchanged, silence between us but that comfortable silence said too much, more than words could ever.

"Umm... sir, ma'am can I take your orders ?" A waitress asked.

I could see her clearly checking him out. I felt a bit jealous but more than that it was funny, because Russell was not even looking at her and was concentrating on the menu. She was trying to blink her lashes and give all those kind of signs but was getting frustrated minute by minute. Finally he looked up and gave his order and so did I but she didn't even look at me. Which i didn't really care about.

"You know how she was giving me looks and stuff but you didn't say anything and you were nearly giggling... gosh you seriously dont like me at all." Russell said a bit frustrated.

"Actually I didn't get jealous and all because, I know no matter how much she tries and does anything, she cant have you babe, you are mine." And I started laughing.

"And what if I run away with someone?" He said seriously

"Then be careful, you know who I am." I said in the darkest tone.

"Okay that tone really scared me."

"It was supposed to scare you."

The food arrived and we ate making small talks in between.

After paying we went to skate on an ice rink.

"Be careful I know how to skate so I can handle. Hold my hand if you need ok?" He said

I smiled and made my way to the rink and the first thing I heard was a big thud. I looked back and there was Russell down fallen down on his butt.

"Ouch! Aw man. It can get get slippery see even a good skater like me can fall. Happens...happens..." and he got up.

Well he didn't know I was a professional skater... after a long time I'm back over here.

And I started skating.

Faster and faster, take a turn and go backwards... this is fun!

"What the hell" I heard "you are such a cheater violet. Why didn't you tell me." And he fell down again

This time I couldn't stop my laughs.

"Laugh all you want" he made a face.

"Okay sorry. Now get up." I held his hand and helped him up

Suddenly I saw a man in black overalls and platinum blonde hair hiding in the dark, as soon as I looked at him he started running away. I took out my gun and shot him.

"what the hell!" Russell said loudly. I took off my skates and ran towards the bleeding man. I sat beside him and checked his pulse. He was alive.

"I know you are acting, make a move and you are dead." I said

"it won't help now. He knows that you are marrying him." And he started laughing.

"Oh dear! I'm so scared.." I said...

I smiled and looked at him.

"your daughter is so cute." I said.

"what have you done to her!"

"you know I came to know that she loves hersheys, and she is extremely allergic to nuts?"

"leave my daughter alone!"

"you should have thought about what you are doing before doing all this…."

"I beg of you please leave her."

"okay…. On one condition."

"I agree. I'll do anything."

"leave the white kingdom, come with me and erase the information."

"but then the white king will kill me."

"you will be under me. No body can ever touch my knights."

"is my daughter hurt?"

"she loves her new bedroom and is waiting for you. I don't kill children, unless its necessary and she is a sweetheart." I said.

Two of my knights came and cleared everything.

"can anything ever be normal for us?" Russell hugged me from behind.

" I am the black king..." I replied.
