CHAPTER 20: ABOUT LIVING MY DREAMS

It's been days ever since we spoke normally to each other, not that we've ever had a normal conversation, but for some time now, our conversation had not gotten beyond exchange of pleasantries.

We always have breakfast together, and it has always been awkward, as for lunch, we don't do that together cos King is usually away and I'm glad of that.

This morning won't be an exception or so I thought.

I came downstairs for breakfast and was joined later by him; you know who.

I acted ignorant of his presence, I didn't even spare him a glance, but I could see him smirking from the corner of my eye; he always does that.

"Mi corazon" he said, but I didn't even bate an eye, I claimed too busy with my breakfast. He pulled out a seat and sat down.

For the next 5 minutes we didn't speak to each other, I was beginning to get relaxed and also release some tension, cos that's the way I usually am when I'm around him, but he had to break the silence.
