" Ren kun , are you sure about this ? " Hokage said seriously as he looked Ren's casual look while talking about a great matter .
" Hehe.. Grandpa , are you not happy with my decision then ? "
" Of course I'm happy but I did not expect you to share a new S rank jutsu with the village ! You can think a little more before deciding.."
" Nah.. I've decided already ! Hehe.. to be honest , I did not think that my jutsu would be so highly evaluated by you . So just give me another S rank technique or twenty A rank jutsu in exchange for it ! "
" 20 ? You shameless brat! Alright choose one of these then ... " Hokage wanted to argue with Ren but he decided against it because he knew that his grandson will find too many reasons to berate him instead . He wrote three S rank technique names on a piece of paper and gave it to Ren .
Ren happily took the paper and looked at the names. His excitement died down the next second because they were only common S rank Elemental Jutsu . Others may covet them greatly but Ren was honestly not interested in them . His only concern was to exchange the technique with system for more number of shop points . He had said twenty A rank jutsu before for the same reason .
Ren knew that he would get more chances to exchange for S rank techniques but for that he would have to gain enough merit by completing too many missions which would take too much time ! So Ren wanted to use this one unexpected chance to exchange for the best technique for him which could be exchanged for most number points and at the same time would be a great addition to his skills .
Ren thought for a moment and facepalmed himself because he had one such technique in mind . FLYING THUNDER GOD . Ren had thought that he would gain this skill in future so he had it off his mind . But now he had enough points to purchase space affinity from system and the chance to gain the technique outside from system shop . So Ren did not hesitate to write his choice on the piece of paper and gave it to Hokage .
Hokage's eyes widened for a bit then he shook his head disappointed in the choice of his grandson. He was the Hokage so naturally he knew about this technique but at the same time he also knew that the requirements for talent and knowledge were too much for this technique. Space Affinity, Grandmastery in Fuinjutsu etc .. No normal ninja could have so many qualities in his whole life . He wanted to convince Ren to choose another one but could only sigh in defeat as the saw the resolute expression on his Grandson's face. Ren was too mature and confident for his age and Hokage was too familiar with it . So he also knew that it was useless to convince Ren right now .
In the end , Hokage took Ren to a hidden small room on the floor below . Ren being Grandmaster in Fuunjutsu could feel too many advanced seals placed here . But he only saw a few large scrolls placed neatly inside the room .
Hokage moulded his chakra and unsealed one protective seal on a huge old scroll . He warned Ren about the scroll by saying just its name . FORBIDDEN SCROLL OF SEALS !
Ren's eyes shined at this name and he could not help but look at the old scroll with passion and started drooling despite him trying to cool his excitement down .
" Grandpa ..I..I. can I just touch this scroll once ? Dont worry , I just want to touch its cover a little .. " Ren started begging Hokage with a trembling voice while his eyes were fixed on the scroll the whole time .
Hokage thought that Ren's request was a childish one but instead he felt happy about this because his Grandson finally acted like a small kid for once . Hokage knew that it was forbidden to accept this request even if Ren just wanted to touch it but he also felt that he had to fulfill the request of his cute Grandson.
After thinking for a while , Hokage decided to agree and told Ren that he could touch for a second before Hokage shows him the Flying Thunder God jutsu details written inside it . Hokage had no idea that Ren was so happy that he could faint from extreme bliss now .
" System hurry and scan the scroll! " Ren shouted frantically inside his mind while he lightly touched the scroll's surface .
" Ding ! Congratulations Host for gaining 500,000 shop points for exchanging Forbidden Scroll of seals ! "
Ren looked at the Hokage and clenched his fist inside his pocket so forcefully that it started bleeding. He was too happy with his luck and too excited thinking about the new skills he had gained and so much stuff he wanted to buy from system right now . Ren wanted to laugh loudly until his throat becomes dry but he endured because Hokage was here and he may start suspecting something then . So Ren could only endure and clench his fist tight to calm down his fluctuating emotions . He had no idea that Hokage had already sensed Ren's unusually fast heartbeat and was feeling worried that his Grandson may have some kind of disease.
