Days had gone by and Sofie was bouncing back to life. Although Edmond appeared from time to time by her bed side, it was Jay's effort who nursed her back to health. After uncovering Sofie's secrets, Edmond could not make himself care for her anymore but instead, encouraged Jay to stepped in.

With so much thought on how his life ended in misery, Edmond draw out a conclusion that he cannot live with Sofie anymore. Divorce was inevitable. Receiving so much unsolicited encouragement from people that cared for him, it was time to think about himself and chase his own happiness.
