Releasing from the tight embrace, Edmond slide one of his hands on Amy's and locked his fingers with hers. Leading the way, they head back to the hotel. The smile on Edmond's face did not disappear but for Amy, she was having mixed emotions brought about by the speed of recent events. Without any resistance, she just followed his lead in a trance.

A lot of things had happened in one day that they had forgotten to eat since they left, so like him, Edmond figured that Amy must have been starving too. Checking for the restaurant inside the hotel, they head there first to have dinner.

Feeling good about the recent happenings, Edmond's appetite was hefty. On the other hand, Amy was slow and biting small chunks. Seeing her looking confused, he tried to make her feel better by holding her hand. It was his way of assuring that everything will be ok. Amy somewhat felt relieved of his actions and started to enjoy her dinner as well.
