Invincible Maru: From Fragile Unto Unbreakable

This is for all who likes Murim, Wuxia, and any other Martial Arts & Cultivation Novels and Manhwa. I've been reading a lot while preparing the other Novels. I hope the story is enjoyable. Especially for the 90's people who read this book.

The story is simple, a powerful couple gifted with a weak child who will soon become strong. Usually stories in webnovel if the MC's starts young is either reincarnation or regression, but it seems there's none of it here, just a simple family structure where the father is surprisingly supportive instead of the mother. I like the story timeline's is the best timeline to blend ancient martial arts culture with early-modern-developed technology, 1994 is the best setting since World War II is already ended too. I love this series added Yuyu Hakusho as a reference, guess the story is already published in the timeline, old games even like Final Fantasy VI are referenced here, even Pac Man. I honestly recommend reading this novel for those who like older references and I do hope the story goes in the good direction despite me could see the slow-pacing compared to the Ragna Rock Novel. Take your time author.

I'm here after seeing the cover, but the story will probably explain many things about the MC's parentage first before the MC shows off. I'm not say I'm hating it but there's no sense of urgency. Since it's Martial Arts, I guess the opening will be long as it will definitely explain the stuffs first before the story could go on. I will check for the consistent development, and wait until the MC finishes training, that's when things get good. Typical Murim Story, but I like the 90's timeline setting where technology is still developing and not that high-tech. A good setting that's why I gave the World Background 5 stars.
