HxH: Dance of the Fire God

This is a great Hunter x Hunter fanfic! The title says it all — yes, he has Demon Slayer powers, but he actually learned them in the Demon Slayer world, since he can travel there! He’s also a member of the Zoldyck family in HxH. Please read — 10/10, it won’t disappoint!

this is actually a really good fic, the mc doesn't have an awful personality and his nen ability is well-developed. my only critism would be the sudden pov switches that make it hard to tell what's exactly going on

I don't know how to describe my disappointment in this novel... Start was good, even considering strange power grading, it was interesting to read. Until chapter 137... Author decided that mc lacks motivation and comes up with messed up curse from God which would take his life in ~9+ years(9y9m9d9h, or smth like this). And from this story of honest training and strengthening himself turns into mess of godhood cultivation, spreading faith and so on... Basically, turns out in the past all humans lived on Dark Continent,but Gods - beings who can use nature's powers by relying on power of faith, selected out humans who don't believe in gods / contribute faith and send them to the lower world - Islands in the center of lake(by author there are 7 such places on dark continent). And mc contracts curse from one of such gods. Every point of original story was twisted into this setting. By latest chapters(200+) Morena turned into lunatic cause her nen ability is also type of faith gavering mechanism and she turned mad by backlash from nature power... Elders in Meteor city are also her infected players and so on. Basically from respecting original in first 100ch this story went to complete overthrowing and overthinking.
