"Got it. I'm heading to the zoo to meet you."

As Zeng Shen exited the apartment complex, intending to retrieve No. 1 from its hiding spot, the same urgent warning from yesterday sounded in his ears.

Before he could react, a rugged, open-top SUV pulled up before him.

Inside the military green SUV sat Kekelin, dressed in a striking silver outfit of leather jacket and pants.

"Mr. Zeng, why didn't you answer my calls or messages? Were you planning to stand me up and not meet our Jack today? Were you just dismissing and joking with me yesterday?" she questioned, her voice tinged with dissatisfaction.

Faced with the visibly emotional Great White Nation beauty, Zeng Shen remained composed.

After her questioning, he opened the passenger door and sat down.

Kekelin assumed he was finally willing to accompany her, but Zeng Shen's next words left her fuming.

"Darling, take me to the Eastern City Zoo."
