Zeng Shen unbuckled his seatbelt and, noticing her doing the same, said, "You stay here and wait for me."

"No," Kekelin immediately retorted.

Zeng Shen smiled slyly, "You should have investigated me thoroughly. If Alice sees you with me, she might misunderstand. But if you want to be misunderstood, then come along. Just don't expect Jack to get what he wants from me."

Kekelin glared at Zeng Shen with fiery eyes, but eventually unbuckled her seatbelt and stepped out of the driver's seat, saying, "I'll follow from a distance, okay?"

"Suit yourself," Zeng Shen shrugged, heading towards the zoo entrance twenty meters away.

From a distance, he saw a group of people standing at the zoo gate.

Five people were blocked outside the gate.

They wore colorful casual clothes—three men and two women.

From their silhouettes, Zeng Shen thought they looked familiar.

As he approached within three meters, he recognized them.

They were Zhao Gang, Li Liangliang, Chen Hu, and their girlfriends Jin Li and Wu Xiaoxiao, former student council members who often made things difficult for him.

At the moment, each held a zoo ticket, arguing with several tattooed, tough-looking men in black casual outfits standing at the gate.

Turning his head, Zhao Gang spotted Zeng Shen watching them with interest.

A mix of feeling mocked and his ingrained sense of superiority from school days hit him, leaving him frustrated.

He wanted to reclaim his sense of superiority in front of Zeng Shen and release his anger from being blocked by the men.

But remembering Zeng Shen's connection to Alice, Zhao Gang suppressed his displeasure, greeting him instead.

"Zeng Shen, it's you! We're planning a reunion over the May 1 holiday. You said you're busy. What are you up to that you can't join us?"

Zeng Shen, seeing Zhao Gang's hypocrisy, smiled sincerely, "No, I'm busy that day. A new game server is launching, and I'm grinding ranks, battling in guild wars, and drawing for rare characters."

Hearing Zeng Shen's reason for not attending was gaming, Zhao Gang's expression soured.

"This zoo is private. Even with tickets, we can't enter. Who do you think you are, Zeng Shen? Why would they let you in?" Li Liangliang challenged.
