So our MC Nahora Takuya (he is Rin's brother apparently) got self-inserted after the original kicked the bucket during the Nine Tails incident as an ANBU, which is something I have never seen before so kudos for that. Not that he got away unscathed as he was hospitalized for 3 years, during which he steadily abused his system to gain more powa! Now about his golden finger, he gets 'orbs of power' that he can collect via osmosis that grants him jutsus, chakra, bloodlines, etc. which is nice, but he can only gain points in specific jutsus or chakra natures when they are actively being used near the MC. Not a bad attempt at balancing things out, right? Wrong! The MC is a typical opportunistic self-centered cultivator so he does his best to generate conflict or extend existing fights so he can get more loot! Well, okay that seem like smart choice, right? Fine, I can't argue with that strategy, but aside from his system he was never shown to actually be able to raise his stats via training or any other way really. Which is where my frustration comes from and it just grows with each additional chapter of this anti-shounen phenomena! That's right this entire fan fic is an affront to Naruto's theme of hardwork and perseverance to overcome overwhelming odds! There is no feeling of catharsis after a victory because its never earned and he could have at any point won but just doesn't make a move to get more drops from every random encounter so far. The whole not being able to train and honestly grind for points is also a rather direct hard limit to his skill cap. For example without anyone being able to use the Flying Thunder God to farm points from and not being able to train the he can never achieve mastery with this jutsu since there also seems to be some type of diminishing returns mechanic, meaning he can't just harrass the old Fourth Hokage's bodyguards to continously milk more Hiraishin points. Overall, okay enough to pass time if you don't mind your blood pressure from skyrocketing out of sheer frustration but definitely not something I recommend to any serious Naruto fan. There are literally thousands of better fanfics out there in other platforms and dozens of really good ones just in Webnovel alone. Trust me you can easily find better alternative reads with minimal effort.
