this story has many holes and yes he's an anbu captain and yes he does have a mask it was mentioned during the debriefing of the mission.It looks like the author forgot all that though

just imagine . mc its a idiot but like all chinese ff, lets make everyone more stupid than the mc to make it seens that the mc is smart i have nothing against chinese ff , sometimes is good, but too much is anoying , if only mc was speaking in chinese way , and everyone else in character its barely ok , but a japanese anime turn in almost cultivator ff ( without the meditation part and cultivating to become immortal ) . if thats not a turn off for you then is a good novel

I like the story, but the system is badly implemented in the story. Rewards are heavily reliant upon authors mood - meaning there are a lot of inconsistencies. The fact that orbs are dropped after executing technique and not after defeating or killing opponents is weird. It's too late to fix that.
