Kai quickly made his way back to Magellan's office, glancing at the elevator with a grim expression. "Alright, let's get this over with, This has been one of the most stressful days of my fucking life.* He fumbled with the keys, trying each one in rapid succession until he heard a click. The elevator door slid open, and he stepped inside, pressing the beautiful button labeled "Floor 5"

Before the doors closed, Kai quickly placed the keys on Magellan's desk "Better leave these here," he thought "The last thing I need is that guy chasing after me because he realized they were missing. Hopefully, there aren't any surveillance Moshi in his office." He doubted it after all it was the office of the prison's Chief warden, why would he put surveillance in it? but the thought still made him uneasy

"Damn only two levels! Used 2683 runes too! I really wanted to use that Night Shard Spell" He knew anyone familiar with the game would agree: Nightshade wasn't just powerful, it was efficient. With the right intelligence stat and the correct staff, you could spam it relentlessly, staggering even the toughest bosses. It was why a Intelligence builds were considered so broken in the DLC!!

"But Glintstone Arc isn't too bad either! Too bad I'm low on Mana, can't even test it properly!" 

Lost in thought, Kai barely noticed when the elevator doors opened to reveal the fifth level of Impel Down. A cold, white expanse stretched out before him, dotted with small, snowy mountains. As he stepped out, his breath visible in the frigid air, he realized how dire his situation was. "This is bad" he thought, shivering. "In the anime, Luffy never managed to escape Level 5 on his own. He passed out and woke up in 5.5. But I don't have that luxury."

He scanned the landscape, anxiety creeping in. "finding 5.5 is nearly impossible for me, It's a secret that even the high level guards such as Magellan and Hannyabal didn't know about, If I can't find it, I'm screwed." He tried to convince himself that being on Level 5 wasn't all bad. "If you can tolerate the cold, which for some reason I can, better than Level four heat! That's for sure! Then it's probably the safest level, The prisoners here are so strong they avoid each other out of fear. But..." His thoughts were cut short by a distant howl

*AWOOOO*

*Yep, that's the problem with Level 5. Those damn wolves. They used to be placed on level two, but apparently they started hunting other beasts, like the Basilisk and the sphinx" Kai grimaced. "While the other top level prisoners might be able to handle them, I don't stand a chance…especially since I'm out of flasks! My best bet is to find a place to hide."

Without another thought, Kai sprinted towards one of the mountains, searching desperately for a cave. He knew it might already be occupied, but he had no other option "if I stay out here for too long, a guard might find me or even worst, the damn Wolves!" he told himself, hoping he wasn't running straight into another disaster.

Kai charged into the cave, his breath hoarse from cold and adrenaline pumping through his veins. The moment he was inside, he froze. Three pairs of glowing eyes stared back from the darkness: wolves, growling low and menacing.

"Fucking Great, this is just what I needed" he thought bitterly, clenching his Estoc tightly. The blade was light in his hand, but he knew that wasn't enough. He was out of healing flasks, and his mana supplies were too low

"Okay, My intelligence has increased, so I should be able to do this! I'm not the same Kai from level two! I didn't pass all those troubles to die here! Let's do this!"

The first attacked, its massive jaws snapping mere inches from his face. Kai sidestepped and barely avoided the attack; he launched his Estoc forward in a thrust, and it sank into the beast's side. The wolf yelped, retreating. Kai had no time to rejoice. Already, the second wolf was upon him, and he rolled quickly to the side, his arm scraping against sharp claws.

"This is bad, they're fast!" Kai thought, casting a Glintstone spell as a sigil materialized in front of him. The magic projectile shot out immediately to strike the second wolf dead in the chest; the beast stumbled backward, disoriented, but the third wolf was on him in a heartbeat, and it was all Kai could do to raise his blade on time to block its fangs, The impact sent him stumbling backward, feet slipping on ice-slicked cave floor.

Kai's mind was racing. He whipped up Glintstone Arc in an instant, and a wide horizontal wave of magical slashes cut through the air, smiting the three wolves and sending them all into stumbling "Eat this you fucking oversized huskies!" But as the glow of the spell finally faded, Kai's heart sank. His mana was all but gone. He could feel the exhaustion creeping up his limbs, his vision blurring slightly.

The wolves shook off the assault, growling all the while in renewed fury. From the wounds, droplets of blood fell, but the wolves had not finished their job yet. Kai clenchsed his teeth and tightened his grip on the Estoc. He could not afford to falter now. So Kai plunged at the nearest wolf, sinking his blade deep into its chest. It yelped in pain before falling, yet not before it raked its claws across Kai's leg, sending a sharp pain shooting through his body

"AGHHH! Fuck I'm not built for this shit!"

Kai's feet staggered out from under him, but he willed himself upright "Get yourself together Kai, I Aint dying here!" The second wolf sprang, and he raised his arm against the teeth sinking into his forearm. He yelled, swung his Estoc, and sliced through the wolf's throat. Blood sprayed across the cave-the beast fell, lifeless, at his feet.

But the last wolf was upon him by now, jaws closing over his shoulder. Kai screamed as he buried his blade in the wolf's side again and again, each blow weaker than the last. At last the wolf fell, leaving Kai standing, shaking and bleeding, amidst the bodies of his foes.

"Fuck....I did it" he thought, but there was no time for relief. His vision was swimming and his legs barely felt there. Then he heard it-the sound of more wolves approaching

"Shit, they smelled the blood!"

Three more. They ran into the cave, their eyes fixed on him. Kai's heart sank. He had nothing left to fight with. His mana was gone, his body was battered, and his Estoc felt like it weighed a ton.

"I have to get out of here, I need to escape!" Kai thought with desperation as he turned and stumbled out of the cave. The cold air slapped him like a ton of bricks, making his battered body ache even further, but he pushed through it. Behind him, the wolves closed in; their growls grew louder and closer.

Kai's legs pumped as hard and fast as they could, but it was no good: the wolves were faster. They caught him just outside the cave and circled him in the snow. He raised his Estoc, his hands shaking with fear, his last stand

"I WON'T FUCKING DIE HERE! I HAVE FOUGHT A FUCKING BIRD! A Vulture! A damn Blue Monkey and sneaked through Magellan's fortress, and your telling me it's all for nothing? NO! I WON'T FUCKING DIE HERE!"

The first wolf lunged, and Kai sidestepped, driving his blade into its side. The second immediately replaced it, but he swung his sword, slashing its throat. Blood splattered across the snow, and the wolf crumpled to the ground.

But the third wolf was upon him, already. Kai had barely strength to raise his blade. The wolf's teeth sank into his side, and he cried out with pain as his vision darkened. He swung weakly, but the wolf dodged it easily, knocking him to the ground.

Kai's body landed hard in the snow, the cold wind filling his lacerations. He tried to get up, but his limbs didn't budge. The Wolf slowly creeped it's way coming closer and closer "I have no Shame, I went from a regular human to a man that can fight wild beasts"

The last thought that pulsed through his brain was a bitter one. "Fucking Miquella"
