[Chapter—59]

Most people would think that I was letting my emotions of Raven get to me again by giving her a way out that didn't end with Finn's life.

Those people would be right and wrong at the same time, Finn would die no matter what happened and I already had plans in motion to ensure that.

One being the whip, that whip had poisonous properties that when met with blood will inject small doses of poison that if enough is injected will kill the person from shock.

So when Raven deals punishment to Finn and herself by effect she'll be killing him in turn, it'll all be hidden as critical shock and all that.

And the second plan being the one I am about to set in motion now.

So as I walked over to my greenhouse cabin I had recreated I smiled as I stared at Charllote taking care of my plants by watering and pruning them.

I sneaked up behind her as quiet as possible, taking my knife out as I got behind her I slowly placed in on her neck.

"*Gasp*!!" She gasped in shock but stayed frozen before looking back and seeing me, she immediately relaxed.

" You let your guard down, again." I told her with a smile as I ruffled up her hair.

" It's not fair, you never make any sound when you sneak up to me!" She muttered pouting.

" That's called skill, you should be learning it." I told her haughtily with a smile on my face.

" Hmph! Why are you here, I thought our training started at night just like usual?" She asked confusedly.

And to anyone that would be confused at what was going on.

Charllote was my protege in a sense, I had been teaching her almost every night for an hour if I could spare it in the arts of stealth, tracking and assassination.

She had become pretty capable too in that department, I had trained her to become my blade, my shadow in the night that would do anything and everything for me, having indoctrinated her into owing me her life by telling her of how I decreased the severity of her sentence from death to whipping was enough to do that.

And now, I had a lackey that would do anything for me, hopefully.

" Yes we do but today I thought I'd put your skills into practical use." I told her with a grin as I brought out a blade, not one of my own but a scrap blade from before I started my Blacksmithing and started distributing better ones.

" I need you to get this to Finn, unseen even by him." I told her.

She looked at the blade and then at me curiously but nodded.

She didn't ask why or anything but instead grabbed the blade and walked out.

Smiling at that I walked out, my next course to the question, my second plan would'nt work well if I didn't fortify it with my next actions.

So walking towards the kitchen I asked fox, a pretty girl who was manning the kitchen.

" Hey foxy, got anything good for me?" I asked immediately garnering her attention as I sat on a chair inside the kitchen.

She stared at me and smiled, rolled her eyes and grabbed something beneath a table and walked up to me.

" What brings the king to the peasants area, especially the kitchen?" She asked sarcastically with a scoff at the end making me chuckle for a moment.

" Oh please, me? A king?" I asked with a roll of my eyes." And as for what I'm doing here, well I just wanted to see what my darling fox was doing as of late." I muttered causing her to smile before shaking her head.

" Don't get a girls hopes high now my lord, you'll give us peasents false hopes you know, plus I wouldn't want to be at the wrong end of Octavia's blade." She said before staring at a distance, in a watchtower where I saw Octavia manning the walls.

" Oh please, you have nothing to worry about and please stop with the king stuff..." I told her with a sigh.

" *Chuckle* I'd get used to it soon if I were you, most people around here have been using those terms already." She told me, I raised an eyebrow at that news.

" Why?" I asked actually curious.

" It started as a joke between some guards and quickly spread around, people are actually taking the whole king stuff seriously now." She said bringing up the bottle she had taken and pouring me some of her moonshine.

" *Scoff* Oh please, they'll forget about this 'joke' and it'll pass over so it's fine." I said even though inside I hoped it didn't.

Having people subconsciously think of me as a king, their king would actually help in my leadership, no, my rule a lot.

" Don't count on it." She said smiling at me." So what can I really help you with?" She asked.

" I was hoping that you could prepare Finn a meal for me, I'll have someone come get it for him in a moment." I said making her raise an eyebrow at that but she nodded.

Thanking her I gulped down my drink and walked away.

On the way I found Charllote sneaking around looking around the dropship probably thinking of how she can get into the ship.

I walked up to her and tapped her on her shoulder, she immediately squealed in surprise spinning out of range and bringing out her knife, the one throwing knife I had given her.

" Well, you're still crap at perceiving your surroundings." I told her playfully." But at least you reactions to threats are improving."

" Come on, I got you a way to get into Finn's floor on the ship without getting suspected." I told her and walked back into the greenhouse.
