As we entered the greenhouse I immediately talked Charlotte into what she would be doing.

" You're gonna go to the kitchen after 10 minutes, you'll say that I sent you to bring some food into the dropship for Finn, you'll then hide the knife within the food for when the guards frisk you." I told the girl.

" But before all of that, I want you to first pour this into the food." I said bringing out a small vial which housed a clear liquid.

This was a simple creation of mine that I was able to create with the help of [Science] to devise and come up with the compound of the psychosis chemicals that I had producing out of a plant I grew using [Plant Control].

This would induce a mental and violent breakdown into anyone that took enough of it.

I just needed Finn to do one stupid thing, to everyone I would have showed mercy onto Finn by simply ordering him to be whipped but when Finn showed further aggression and fatally wounded one of our people then who would judge me when I cut off his head myself?

By all means, Finn would die tommorow.

It had just about dawn when Charllote returned with good news, the knife was smuggled in, the drug had been spread into his food and she had seen him eat and hide the knife with her own eyes.

' Phase two complete.' I thought sighing as I walked out of the crafthouse.

I had completed all the explosives with all the material I had on me.

I had even improved upon my own design's, I used [Science] to devise a timer for all the bombs braided landmines.

I had even created bombs that would only detonate when a switch was flipped, I had to scrap some of the dropships parts to make that possible though.

Some of these bombs would explode and release a hazardous gas compounds upon denotation, some induced hallucinations and more.

I went all out on these, [Science] and [Plant Control] were incredibly useful together in that department.

So as I walked off towards where Clarke was most of the time I saw her sitting in a campfire, holding a mug of moonshine staring at the stars as the sun had just disappeared into horizon.

I walked over towards her, quietly sat besides her and looked up too.

I stayed silent alongside her and simply stared up, enjoying that one moment of security and safety.

A treaty would be agreed upon tommorow, we would finally not have to worry about the grounders and the Ark would fall in the coming days and hopefully we'd obtain some of their tech which would hopefully allow me to grow this place into more then it had been.

I knew that it would take some work and a lot of bullshit to pull off but I would do it.

" Thank you." I was brought out of my thoughts by Clarke's words.

" For what?" I said staring at the sky.

" For not killing him." She muttered, her voice still low.

I stayed silent fighting the urge to openly sigh.

" You love him that much huh?" I asked hopefully being able to hide any emotion with those words.

She stayed silent for a while, having not moved her eyes from the sky just as I.

" No." She said resolutely." But I still care, he is my friend after all."

Scoffing playfully at that I muttered." Just a friend huh?" I asked chuckling.

" Well, we never managed to become truly more." She said and I stayed quiet.

" I'm sorry." She again spoke up making me raise a brow at that as I turned my head towards her.

" For what?" I asked her.

" I was the one that brought Finn to the bunker, if I had never did that maybe he would have never been caught and he would have never said anything to the grounders." She said with actual guilt in her words.

Sighing at that I simply looked back at the sky.

" It's fine, you're forgiven." I said with a shrugg, I was angry about it yes but not to a point where I would have been able to do anything by it.

Her betrayal wasn't to Ravens level so I could pass over it, I wouldn't be telling her of anything too important though, only that of which I deem lesser of importance.

" Why did you even show him that place in the first place?" I asked her genuinely curious about that bit.

She chuckled for a moment and then scoffed before looking at me." I wanted to have sex."

I choked on my saliva for a moment there, not having expected that answer but was quickly able to collect myself as I stared at her.

" *Scoff* Don't worry, we didn't do it...." She muttered smiling at something as she stared at me.

I frowned at her words and replied." Why would I be worried that y'all didn't have sex?" I asked with a scoff of my own.

But inside I knew that I thought differently, so I decided to dig further.

" I have to ask though, why didn't you?" I asked her." I mean the last time it was because there wasn't a place to do it, so what's your reason now?"

She smiled at me and stared back at the sky.

" He... didn't feel right." She muttered below her voice making me frown.

" Didn't feel...right?" I asked my brow raised." The fuck does that mean?" I muttered genuinely confused.

" *Chuckle* He didn't feel like you." She said in a tiny voice probably expecting me to hear.

" Me?...the fuck do you mean he didn't feel like me?" I asked this time understanding just a tiny bit." I feel right to you?"

She looked at me suprised that I heard, she sighed and shook her head and looked back at the sky drinking the last gulps of her moonshine.

" You feel safe, powerful....and like home." She spoke again her words needing me to translate and understand due to how vague they were, but I understood the gist of it.

But before I could reply she spoke.

" Zek....what's that?" She asked staring at the sky, I looked back too and internally sighed.

We watched as what I knew to be the exodus ship falling from the sky.

" It's the ark..." I muttered my voice low.

We stared for a moment, people also picked up on the object falling from the sky.

But the more it fell the more murmurs reverberated around us.

" Zek...it's not slowing down..." Clarke spoke, clear panic in her voice.

" Zek!" She shouted for the last time as we watched the exodus ship crash from a distance, a mushroom cloud of flames and smoke bellowing out one last time.

" No!" Shouted Clarke her eyes teary.

I immediately grabbed her and hugged her, turning her face from the mushroom of flames in doing so.

" M-my m-mom...." She muttered sobbing and I simply held her there.

I could have probably assured and told her that her mom wasn't on the exodus ship but then I'd have to explain on god why I was sure of that.

So I simply hugged the sobbing teen and soothed her instead.
