There's a lot I'd want to illustrate here. Xiaoxiao dazed in her wedding dress staring at the red candlelit room realizing she's traveled through time, the playful chaos of her cutting her own hair short with borrowed scissors and tying it back with red string, or the lively market scene of her arms full of packages while her sisters in law trail behind utterly exasperated. The mix of comedic transmigration, found family warmth, and an unapologetically herself heroine navigating ancient times on her own terms gives this story such a charming, lighthearted visual world to work with. I do manga style commission art, and stories with transmigration comedy, unconventional heroines who refuse to conform, and found family sisterhood dynamics are exactly the kind of stories I love bringing to life through illustration. Story of an ordinary girl who transmigrated into the ancient times. No cheats or golden fingers. Just knowledge of the future. No space or some sorts. Her family treats her well and her in-laws treats her well too. They feel sorry for how her husband treated her. I like these type of simple novels. not too much drama involved.
