Chapter thirteen

"And plz if that's not enough for you, let me take you to the sushi restaurant I saw down street, I hope it's good" I asked her.

" Yeah it's a 5 star restaurant" she replied still flabagastered.

" Plz get into my car, if not I would feel really bad" I said once again. Kaida went to the other side of car and entered, 15 mins drive and we arrived at "sushi gold restaurant" typically the best restaurant in town. We sat down and placed our orders.

" So what brings you here, and whats your name" she asked. "My name is Ruby flyn, and am a tourist, I just wanted to spend a few weeks in this country and experience the country, I heard it's a good tourist spot" I replied her.

"Wow, a few minutes ago you said you had no place to stay, Any plans for that" kaida asked. " Typically no, am stranded, all 5 star hotels are booked, and the villa I also wanted to purchase is sold, and well am not used to staying in short of luxury" I said eating my sushi.

" You can stay at my place, it's big and luxurious, I would feel bad to leave you stranded" she said. Lies, pure lies, she wanted an ally, and a rich friend is a perfect ally.

The waiter came to give the bill, " $2000 only, that's cheap, here $3000 tip, I like the food and the design is great, keep it" I said. "Thank you mam" the waiter bowed and left.

We were soon back in the car, kaida asked " I never heard of the flyns, but you seem to have a deep pocket", she commented. From the minute I saw you, till now which is just an hour, you splurged $5000,050 as if it were nothing".

" Well, my dad is one of the board of directors at Lena techs and more, and I met with the vice president, Steven Grayson, we started seeing eachother not long after that" I lied.

"Wow, are you really Mr Stevens girlfriend, I don't believe it" she said. "Well since you are my first friend, let me call him in your presence, facetime, hope you would believe me" I said picking up my phone and calling Steven.

"Hey babe, how are you" Steven said once the call was connected. " I wasn't fine till a few minutes ago, you know the villa I wanted to purchase right, well I couldn't, all high end hotels are booked, plus I crashed into a nice lady's car. After hearing my situation she asked me to stay at her place." I told Steven.

" Wow, she is a life saver really, do this give me her account number, let me send her something little as a thank you" Steven said. We are going to have to spend alot of money on kaida to buy her trust after all, but with time we would take it all back with Interest.

I sent kaidas account number to Steven and in less than 5 mins she received an alert of $10 million. She wanted to faint, I could see it. " Oh my God, so this is actually true, this is seems really superficial, like wow, $10 million as a small thanks, thank you so much, like I don't know what to actually say" she exclaimed.

" Why is Steven tightening his pocket, that's such a small amount, but don't worry, with time I would surely repay your kindness" I said.

" Oh no no, this is more than I can ask for, don't make me look like a gold digger. Let's do this, give me your car keys and I would drive you home okay, you need to rest you look tired" she said

" Are you sure?" I asked her. " Ofcourse, just relax, and I would take care of you okay, just like my elder sister, I would take care of you as if you are my elder sister because you do look young and beautiful but am sure you are older than me" she said. I didn't reply, sure enough she would take care of me like she did before, betraying me, humiliating me, snatching my life and identity. That's all she is a snake and a low life.

We drove for like an hour before reaching the Thayer mansion. My heart was suddenly warm with all sought of feelings. I remembered the good old days when mom was still alive, when our lives were happy, but now am just a stranger to that house, but hopefully I would meet my dad. Kaida led me to the living room.

It looked nothing like it used to. Before, the living room looked so lovely and had a welcoming sensation. Yellow cushions, family portraits. Beautiful chandeliers, flowers, a fish tank. But now it's all gone. The pics that graced the living room were only kaida and Thomas pictures. Flowers were gone, fish tank was gone. In place of fish tank was a small bar, disco lights, bright red cushions. It looked nothing like my home.

" Mom, Thomy, come see who I bought" kaida shouted. Thomas came out of my room. My room?. And Helen out of mom's room, the gut of her. Thomas looked lazy, with yellow shorts, messy hair and a flower print shirt. And for Helen she looked sophisticated. Chanel dress, beautiful hair style and gold accessories, ofcourse and a Louis Vuitton shoe.

" Kaida who is this random girl you bought home" she asked her daughter.
