AgentBoin:Well tbf I'd say that's solely because the OT was made first obviously, but I guess we can let that go. Also Luke doesn't necessarily need to rebuild the jedi order himself, there's still a number of jedi around that would be willing to do so given the chance. in canon there's a few, and more in Legends (notable ones I remember are Tholme, Tra'Saa, Shaak'ti, K'Kruhk). Hell, Obi-wan can do a better job, I get OT was all about Luke being the start of something new, but Obi-wan can have a little more faith in the other jedi no? xD
