"I think it will be much easier to deal with Dalton once we locate him. Arlo is the problem." His brow rises. "Because you are unwilling to let me do what needs to be done."
Guilt nudges at me and I wince.
He sips his drink, looking thoughtful. "Earlier today, Tyler and I were talking about solutions of how to handle Arlo's problem."
"Were you?" My eyes light up. I'm actually glad to hear that because I know Tyler isn't always in favour of murders, especially if they can be avoided. He wasn't born into this lifestyle. He was only forced to be in it. "Did Tyler come up with some suggestions?"
"Well yes, he did." He smiles wryly. "His idea is pretty out there though. He thinks it might be the best way to keep Arlo alive and appease me at the same time. I have a feeling you will hate it."
"Why?" I ask, curiosity getting the best of me.
"Because the plan involves you."
I chuckle nervously. "Okay, in what way?"
