Kim Seijin's mind raced, his thoughts circling the question that lingered in the air like the heavy tension on the rooftop: Had the demon's power diminished? Or was there something more going on? The silence was deafening. For a moment, it seemed like time itself held its breath.
Then, without warning, the scene shifted. From the dismantled remains of the woman, five grotesque creatures began to rise. They were giant, mushroom-like monsters. Their heads, shaped like mushroom caps, were the same dull brown as decaying fungi, but the bodies underneath were nothing short of terrifying. Instead of stalks, their legs were long, sharp, and needle-like, piercing the ground with every step. They stood waist-high to Seijin, their legs extending in a way that made them tower over any normal kid. Despite their mushroom-like appearance, they moved with predatory grace, sharp edges gleaming in the dim light.
