Jaemin's Bold Intervention

With a surge of energy, Seijin launched himself into the air, his blade glowing with azure light. The demoness's mouth fell open, stunned by how he had found her. She stumbled back, trying to regain her composure. 'I can end this now.'

Just as he prepared to strike, her hands moved in a blur, summoning two hovering red plates covered in runes. With a flick of her wrists, the plates glowed and, in an instant, the fallen creatures on a nearby rooftop rose once more. Their lifeless bodies reanimated, their eyes burning with malevolent energy.

Below, one of the Hunters shouted, "Open fire! Cover Director Kim!" The military men unleashed a barrage of bullets at the creatures, trying to slow them down. It worked—momentarily. But two of the monsters broke through, leaping into the air, heading straight for Seijin.

Tension tightened the air. 'Will I reach her in time?' Seijin thought as he pushed himself harder, lightning surging through him.
