Currently reading this in raws, and so far, so good. The plot is a stable one, although a bit slow, in my opinion. Nevertheless, the arcs flow right to the next one and don't feel abrupt at all. The protagonist is also a stable one, not a genius build kind. He does have talent in the field of magic and alchemy, that I admit. Although not to the OP kind since he's formerly an independent cultivator after all. He builds up his knowledge and skill once he arrives at the Spirit Control/Yuling sect.
Overall, it's not a bad beast cultivation novel. A warning, though, it doesn't mainly focus on cultivation but also on other things.
