Ice King (Harry Potter fanfic)

I'm from Santos, on the coast, my name is Abel Alves, just another teenager who's about to finish high school. Everything started to go wrong in my life when my grandmother passed away, it was just me and her forever. My mother left me with her right when I was born and my father never showed up, but it was okay, I had my grandmother, and she raised me with all the love in the world, but in 2019 she left for the pandemic that took many lives due to social misinformation, we were poor, but not very poor, you had our house and everything you needed to live comfortably, but not in luxury, from an early age (15 years old) I worked to help even though I didn't need it, it was more for the future. At 15 Over the years I did a lot of things with my friends and family, I had casual encounters and small affairs, but never more than that, but everything was fine, I was happy. Like I said, my grandmother passed away, and it broke me in ways I didn't think were possible. She was my pillar and, with her departure, all that was left was sadness. The next 3 years of my life were practically on autopilot, I would go to school, work and home. A routine that nothing could take away from me, I really liked reading fanfic, it was the only entertainment in my life, so I lived my life sad and dull, just loneliness. My death was a surprise even for me, well you must be wondering how he died and why he mentioned the excessive weather in Brazil, well it was a night like any other in 2023, of course if you don't count the heat and to make matters worse the air -conditioning had broken, the heat was so bad that my heart stopped while I was sleeping, you must be thinking that it is not possible to die due to the heat!! Well, it's possible if you forgot to drink water, yes, I forgot to drink water, so I died, simple and easy. Of course, there were also other factors, such as the difficulty breathing that I had since childhood. The last thing I remember is having read the last chapter of a Harry Potter fanfic, and then the darkness came and with it the cold.
