I think he would evolve and purge the soul remnant. It seems like forced plot to keep it around.

Surely if we are basing big raga's adaptation of the go/jo vs sukuna fight. Big raga can adapt more than once, I understand the plot kinda demands that the mc learns soul stuffs to help mai & maki but I would think multiple adaptations for the same phenomena would be a intresting way to increase the mc's strength. other than that this is really really good. maybe a trickle of hakari since he was in jujutsu high with go/jo and emo
