"Aldrich awakened the skill Necromancy. But his skill was quite different from others. He could summon countless dead to be his undead. Have you ever seen a horde of skeletons killing a single monster? Have you ever seen a dragon killed by thousands of skeletons? Have you ever seen a war won by a single person? Aldrich, the Ultimate Necromancer, with his giant army of millions of undead, will rule over all the worlds."
2025.
Center of Kathmandu District.
A huge crack appeared in the space. From those cracks, beings that only existed in a fictional world appeared.
Monsters of varying size and strength invaded the world. The world was destroyed due to it.
Billions of people died, and lots of cities turned into ruins.
However, the military managed to defeat some monsters. From monsters dropped cores that increased people's strength. Skill Books that gave people otherworldly powers.
From there, the world of supers began. The slits in space got its name Dungeon.
And the people with superpowers were named [Supers].
_____
5 Years Later.
While humanity still hasn't completely regained their lands, they have managed to create small cities.
Safe and sound, humans have regained their peace, temporarily.
Aldrich was a young man in his early twenties. He hadn't received higher education, so he could only do manual jobs for his livelihood.
While the cities was being rebuilt, many manual workers were needed. Due to that, Aldrich had received many jobs and managed to survive till now.
However, he had saved some of his money.
Today, he had used all those savings, which could have bought him a nice flat, to buy a low-level Skill Book. Of course, that is if he's lucky.
The skill book he bought doesn't guarantee skills; there's only a 5 percent chance one would get an F rank skill.
"Finally, I could be a Super!" He exclaimed, looking at the gleaming book in front of his eyes. "Quite expensive, but as long as I manage to awaken, I can earn back the money easily." In this current world, the most earnings job was of Super.
After readying himself, he placed the skill book closer to his forehead.
A bright light shone. Next minute, the skill book disappeared from his hands.

[Strength: 11]
[Stamina: 12]
[Magical Power: 5]
[Skill(s): (Necromancy)]
"I succeeded!" Aldrich jumped in joy and smiled. He punched the sky and had a very happy face. Cooling down his happiness, he looked at the hologram, mainly the skill he got.
"Necromancy?" Aldrich tilted his head. "Doesn't this skill summon corpse to be undead?" He pondered.
"Well, can't sit around and ponder on this thing. Let's get a licence first." He wore a coat and called a cab.
The fast-moving vehicle that has no driver automatically arrived near his apartment. He boarded the car and moved to the nearest [Super Association] by inputting the desired location in the panel in the passenger seat.
________
A tall building crossing over the sky, piercing the clouds, stood right at the centre of the small city.
Varieties of men wearing different clothes moved in and out of the building. They all looked strong, carrying the scent of blood along.
Aldrich looked at them. "Now I too can become someone like them." He formed a fist and entered the building.
Varieties of stores were inside the building. Shops that bought and sold Skill Books were at the corner.
Shops that sold and bought equipment. Shop that sold potions, shops that sold cores, shops that heal others and so on. Varieties of these shops were condensed on the first floor.
A little further down, at the end of the first floor, near the stairs that took to another floor, a room existed.
Licence Room.
That was written on the door. Aldrich entered the room and was greeted by a beautiful young woman beside a desk.
There was a sofa to wait on and some other decorations to admire in the room. Since there was no one in the room other than the receptionist right now, Aldrich didn't have to wait.
"Sir, are you here to get a licence?" She asked with a sweet and polite voice.
"Yes," Aldrich nodded.
She took out a big box. The box was embedded with various gems that looked beautiful. A separate panel extended from the box where one could put their hands on.
"Please put your hands here," she pointed to the panel.
Aldrich placed his palm on the panel, and the gems glowed dimly. Seeing that, the woman nodded.
She inquired about his information, from name to bank information. She typed on the box.
Soon, the box let out a strange noise and a card emerged from the other end of the box.
After signing some contracts, Aldrich held the card.
"Wow," he stared at the card. A silver metallic card which held his name, profession, and other minor stuff. But the most important thing was at the bottom, a series of metal laid on the bottom. The metal wrapping the bottom had a function.
It could be used in scanning the security panel in the dungeon or for payment too.
Aldrich didn't stay in the building. He hurriedly left and went home to prepare. Since he had no teammates, he would enter the dungeon solo.
If he's fortunate, he could kill some weak monsters, earn some cores, or get a skill book and leave, earning some money. If he's unfortunate, he would die inside the dungeon like many.
"A butcher knife, and a bag. Perfect," he only carried a knife which he was comfortable to use and a bag.
Typically, a party enters the dungeon. Swordsman, mage, archer, tank, etc., perform their own role in the dungeon. If they have good cooperation and coordination, they would defeat many monsters and earn plenty.
If they aren't good at such things, they would be food for monsters.
Aldrich wasn't good at teamwork. He prefers being alone. He wouldn't have to spoil loots and hear complaints. He would either kill or die.
With such a mindset, he entered the cab and headed to the F rank dungeon [Wolf's Cavern].
[Wolf Cavern]
The dungeon was surrounded by a thick layer of walls. A huge metallic door blocked any normal human from entering. Miniguns hung on the top of the walls for use in case of a dungeon break.
Dungeon Break. A term used when the dungeon explodes. When the dungeon explodes, monsters escape the dungeon and cause havoc in the city.
Not all Supers are available to deal with a dungeon break at any time, so to prevent a dungeon break, a screen is kept beside the dungeon which shows how full the dungeon is.
If it's in red, then the dungeon would break pretty soon in the future, if it's orange, the danger is still high, yellow is normal, and white shows the dungeon won't break in the future for a long time.
To prevent a dungeon break, one had to clear the dungeon on a regular basis so monsters won't pile up and the possibility of a dungeon break increases.
Inside the walls, many F-rank Supers wearing leather or metal armour and weapons in their hands entered the hole in space.
The area was pretty huge and empty. Except for the hole in the centre, there are small stalls around which sell some items and potions.
Aldrich looked at the scenery. His heart thumped. "Now…I can fight monsters." He remembered the apocalypse which took the life of his parents.
He always yearned to hold superpower and fought with monsters. Now that dream would come true.
He walked near the portal. As he moved, many Supers looked at him. Seeing him going alone, some were surprised and some snickered and laughed at him.
"See, another one going alone in the dungeon. Does he think he can kill monsters alone?"
"Maybe he has some rare skill? Maybe he will defeat the dungeon alone."
"This is nothing but a fool's errand. He will be food for the wolf."
"Well, monsters have to eat too, don't they?"
They all laughed.
Aldrich heard these but didn't care. He ignored those comments and entered the portal.
As soon as he stepped on the portal, he was sucked in.
The whole world zoomed in, and he found himself standing in the middle of a cave. He held his head and closed his eyes.
"Ugg! My head is spinning. I feel dizzy." He nearly vomited.
After feeling better, he walked. He looked around the rocky walls and roofless ceiling.
As he exited from a layer of a cave, he entered a huge ground with little grass spread on the ground. A massive staircase spiraled from down to the up which had no end.
"Doesn't that stair have an end?" As he was looking up, wind blew on his face.
A big wolf jumped right in front of him. The wolf was around 1.5m tall and was big. Its fur was dense and looked soft.
With very sharp claws and canines, it jumped at Aldrich. Aldrich jumped sideways and dodged the attack.
The wolf landed graciously, staring at Aldrich with its three pure red eyes.
Grr!
It gritted its teeth and charged at him again. Aldrich jumped and dodged again. He hurriedly stood and slashed his butcher knife at the wolf.
But the knife couldn't even make a cut due to the soft fur and thick skin on its body.
The wolf jumped on him, and this time he couldn't dodge in time. The wolf landed on top of him.
Saliva leaked and dropped on Aldrich's face, as he felt terror and fear rushing deep in his heart.
'Damn, will I get eaten?' he thought.
As the wolf smelled his body, it opened its jaws wide. Aldrich grabbed the wolf's jaw and slashed his knife on its head.
There was a small cut! However, it was so small that not even a drop of blood had fallen.
However, the wolf jumped back and this gave Aldrich enough time to get up and charge at the wolf.
He grabbed the wolf's head and hit its head with his knife until it got broken. The wolf let out a growl and fell to the ground.
It didn't die nor shed much blood, but Aldrich knew what to do. As the knife broke, it got thin. So he held it in a stabbing style and forced open the wolf's eyelid.
Then he stabbed the knife in the eye with all his strength.
Howl!
Blood splattered all over the place as the wolf let out a loud howl. With its last cry of agony, it turned into dust and dropped a small red core.
Aldrich looked at the core and thought of Necromancy. "Where do I use the skill? There's no body, or do I cast it on this core? How do I activate my skill? Do I have to say it out loud for the skill to activate?" He soon found his answer just by thinking; a dark smoke emitted from his hand and covered the small core.
The core flew and emitted a bright light. Skeletal legs, thick and wide grew, then on top of that leg, bones stacked to form a cylindrical body, then a large skull appeared and attached on the spine, along with a short sharp tail behind.
A skeletal wolf, shorter than the real wolf, appeared and stared at Aldrich with its skeletal tails swinging.
Blue flames lit up in its three hollow sockets, and it looked terrifying and creepy.
"Not bad." Aldrich rested on the ground, but he couldn't get enough rest. Three wolves rushed toward him.
"Attack!" Aldrich hurriedly commanded the wolf. A tether-like invisible magical wire was connected between them, which allowed Aldrich to command the wolf.
The skeletal wolf attacked the wolves. Its claws, sharper, cut through the wolves' defense and injured them. Seeing a kin similar to them, the wolves hesitated to attack. But as the skeletal wolf attacked them, they also attacked it.
Aldrich sneaked from behind and attacked the injured wolf. Blood gushed from its wounds that formed on its head.
Aldrich jumped on the wolf and stabbed the broken knife into its head, specifically the area where the wound was formed. The knife stabbed and made the wound deep. The wolf howled and fell to the ground.
Aldrich hurriedly forced its eyelid open and stabbed the knife into its eye. The knife snapped completely but managed to kill the wolf.
The wolf's body disappeared and turned into a core. Aldrich, in a rush, cast Necromancy and the core turned into another skeletal wolf.
On the other hand, the skeletal wolf managed to injure the two wolves, but it was also badly injured.
Its backbones cracked and broken, various scratches appeared on its skull, and even its front leg was broken in half.
As another skeletal wolf joined, the two wolves couldn't defeat them as both of them were seriously injured, bleeding from all over the place.
New Skeletal wolf attacked the wolves, deepening their injuries. Blood gushed out, and the wolves fell due to serious blood loss. The second wolf also got little scratched but it was in good shape.
However first skeletal wolf collapsed and turned into bits of light disappearing into nothingness.
The two wolves died due to blood loss and disappeared. Two green cores fell in the place where the bodies disappeared.
"Phew!" Aldrich wiped the sweat off his body and collapsed on the ground. Even if he didn't completely participate in the battle, the stress was there.
"Thank god, no other wolf rushed here. And thank god, we won." Undead wolves weren't stronger than the wolves, but they were more durable, could endure any form of injury and attack until they die. But since real wolves would weaken from blood loss, would bleed, and would feel pain from injuries, they couldn't completely beat the undead wolves.
Aldrich cast Necromancy on the two cores, and his forces reached 3. Of course, that was pitifully low numbers, however Aldrich was motivated.
"Now let's hunt and increase the forces!" Aldrich punched the sky and moved on the open ground, towards the stairs.
The stairs looked near, but it was far. Even after moving for 5 minutes, he was nowhere near it. But soon, four more wolves rushed at them from somewhere.
Howl!
The undead wolves next to Aldrich jumped without requiring Aldrich's command.
"It seems they could understand my mind." He muttered as he watched the battle, since he had no weapon, he had no way of joining it unless he wants to die trying.
The skeletal wolves bit the wolves with their canines, which weren't teeth, but elongated bones in their jaws.
The wolves fought back, scratching and breaking the bones of undead wolves. As two wolves fell due to piling injuries in their bodies, one undead wolf succumbed to death as it crumbled into pieces and disappeared.
Two undead wolves, bearing numerous scars, one losing its front two legs, another losing its tails, somehow won the fight. Four undead wolves fell and dropped four small cores.
"The good thing is core drop rates are 100%. The bad thing, rarely an item, weapon, and skills drop," he recalled the information he learned on the internet.
Cores help increase the stats of the Super. Green cores increase Stamina, red cores increase Strength, and blue ones increase magical power.
For now, Aldrich hadn't used a single one as he requires an army to fight the undead since his overall stats aren't better than that of a normal person.
"For now, let's create an army, then store cores to sell them and earn money." His other goal was to earn money and buy skills.
Six undead wolves surrounded Aldrich. Just like before, the number of wolves rushing at him increased to five.
The five wolves were outnumbered by the six undead wolves. It wasn't a one-sided slaughter, as the undead wolves also got injured, but unlike before, four new undead wolves didn't get many injuries, only some scratches, while the two that were injured previously reached the verge of breaking down.
However, now that another five wolves joined the pack, Aldrich's forces crossed double digits.
The forces of undead wolves surrounded Aldrich as he marched ahead.
