Embershard mine #2

"Yes," I answered.

"I see," He shed a small tear, wiping it, he said with a small smile, "But I guess it's not only you that's in love,"

'this guy is making me look like an asshole,' I thought, but I don't care.

"I believe so," I replied.

"Haa! Let's get back," He said and I followed him.

In Riverwood:

Gerdur saw us and jumped into my arms, she wasn't afraid anymore, "Darius! I'm glad you're safe," She squeked my name.

"As I am for you," I replied with a smile.

"Yo-you saw Faendal?'' Sven stuttered.

"Yeah, he's dead," I replied and I noticed him sigh under his breath hearing me confirm.

'He definitely did something,' I thought.

I was about to ask him, but I felt a tug on my hand turning my head I saw Sigrid pulling my arm, "What?" I asked, "H-have breakfast with us," she said meekly.

'Why did Alvor ask me to invite him for breakfast?' She asked herself but she was happy to have Darius by her side.

"Yes, Darius you have to," Gerdur also agreed with Sigrid.

"Fine, Let's go," I sighed, I have to give the Stone Tablet to Farengar but I can go there after having breakfast.

We were sitting at the table, In front of me were Gerdur and Frodnar, and to my left side, was Camilla, they hadn't sent her home yet, We don't know what kind of effect it will have on her.

Sigrid was serving breakfast Dorthe still hadn't woken up, Alvor decided to give us some alone time, Sven had gone to his house, and Hod was at the Mill since he had already eaten.

Camilla's head was resting on my shoulder, to everyone's surprise.

Frodnar spoke, "Big brother, are you two married?" and Camilla quickly yelped and got up from my shoulder.

Sigrid and Gerdur were looking at me, "No, not married," I smiled.

"Then are you two Lovers?" He asked again, 'this guy is trying to ruin my life,' I thought.

I looked at Camilla who was staring daggers at me wanting to hear my answer, and Sigrid and Gerdur were eager to hear my answer.

"My relationship with her is the same as mine with your mother and Sigrid, does that answer your question?" I replied with a tick mark on my head, 'Just shut up kid,'.

My answer seemed to make Camilla blush, and the other two were surprised at first but then their faces turned red, 'Sigh! I'm just too good,' I thought to myself.

"Here," Sigrid put the dishes in front of me, she made quite a lot of food, we had boiled eggs, ham, bread, and some fruits.

"Thank you, Sigrid, it looks delicious," I smiled at her, hearing me she gave me a quick peck on the cheek, "I'm glad you like it,"

"Mom, that's what lovers do right?" Frodnar asked seening Sigrid kiss me.

'Where did he learn this from,' I thought.

"Who told you that?" Gerdur asked.

"Dad told me," Frodnar answered, "That man," She muttered to herself with a frown.

"Nothing to worry Gerdur," I reassured her.

After eating breakfast, Camilla moved to her house, of course, I was with her to console her. Hod, Alvor, and Sven buried Lucan and cleaned the floor before I returned with Camilla from Bleak Falls Barrow, but I don't think she should stay here, it might have a toll on her mental health.

'hmm, I should convince her to sell the house and buy a new one I can probably help with that,' I thought to myself, she might start having nightmares.

I couldn't ask Gerdur to take care of Camilla because she works at the Mill, so I told Sigrid to look after her as she's free most of the time.

Saying goodbye to them which was difficult, I headed to Whiterun to return the Tablet, and to kill my first Dragon.

When I reached the Palegia Farm, I saw from a distance four people fighting a Giant.

I quickly ran toward them, knowing who the four might be, from a distance of 4 meters, I dual cast Spark Spell and yelled for them to, "Get out of the way!".

Which they did, my attack landed on the Giant's leg, burning it and stunning him, bringing him to one knee, and seeing the opportunity Aela jumped at his neck stabbing him.

Which didn't do much because the giant had a thick neck, even though the sword's blade had disappeared into his neck, it flicked its hand, sending Aela flying far away.

I ran to her side to quickly heal her wounds, she was exhausted and not having a sword in her hand, she was currently useless, "Stay here, I'll handle it," I said as I ran toward the kneeling giant.

I was thinking of where to cast the Spark spell, if I blinded him he would go haywire and it wouldn't be easy to kill him then.

So first I decided to set fire to his head, casting Flame toward his head and when his hair caught fire, the giant tried to put it out with his hand because of the excruciating pain. While it was distracted I cast a Spark spell on his other leg.

He faceplanted into the ground while squirming because of the pain, I grabbed the hilt of the sword stuck in his neck and moved it upward making a 2-foot-long cut.

It died in a few seconds of blood loss, I turned to see Aela looking at me, "What? Too shocked?" I asked with a smirk, "I am, you're good br-," I cut her off before she Bro-zoned me, "I know, my huntress" I said which shocked all of them.

After a few minutes of silence, Aela asked, "What do you think about joining the Companions?", I asked what it was, "An outsider eh, never heard of the companions? An order of warriors, we are brothers and sisters in honor-," before she could finish her monologue I intejected.

"Nah, I don't wanna be your brother," Aela oblivious to romance didn't understand what I was saying but the other three understood very well, "What, why? You're strong we can be the strongest shield Brother or Sisters," She said.

I sighed, I one sweep I cleaned the blood on the sword, moving toward her I was inches away from her face, and I slowly put the sword in her sheathe.

'Oh my,' the other three thought.

"What's your name?" I asked leaning to her face, "Aela," She answered, "I'll think about it," as I moved away from her, "Hey, can I take something from this corpse," I asked looking at her, I was pointing my finger at the Giant's body.

"Yeah, you killed it," Aela said, nodding my head, I saw a mammoth's tusk hanging on its waist, I wanted it for Ysolda, so I grabbed it and stored it in my inventory.

"Here, I'm done that's all I wanted," They all nodded, and I bid them farewell as they were going for a hunt so I entered Whiterun alone.
